Sand_Hill
Welcome to my Soul Wars Leveling Guide! These are the times for raising either attack, defense, strength, or hitpoints in Soul Wars. This is solely Zeal Points; it does not include xp you receive during the game. I did this by making an excel spreadsheet and plugging in numbers. I got the data from here.(thanks, mario_sunny!) The point of this guide is for people that are making defense pures and HP pures; they can't (reasonably) train any other way. from what I hear, it's great for mage and range training, too. :) [hide=Google Docs Version!]The spreadsheet is located here! Instructions: First, open the workbook. Use the dropdown menu to select your level. This shows starting xp, xp difference, xp per Zeal Point, and XP Per hour gains, as well as how many hours it will take to advance to the next level. To view multiple levels, use the "Custom Filter" feature, (click on the down arrow for levels, then click [Custom Filter]) To use the "Min Total" and "Max Total" functions, select the level ranges you would like using the Custom Filter feature and then add this text into the appropriate boxes: Min total: Substitute your range of numbers for x. =SUM(Gx:x) Example: =SUM(G22:G55) gives me 49.50 minimum hours for the level range I selected. Max Total: Substitute your range of numbers for x. =SUM(Hx:Hx) Example: =SUM(H22:H55) gives me 148.51 maximum hours for the level range I selected. !!Average Hours are figured out based on the Max Total and Min Total Values.!![/hide][hide=Download Version (better quality)!]If you want to download this file, please click here. It's hosted on my website. It's safe; don't worry. Feel free to scan it up. :) Instructions: First, open the unzip the file and open the workbook using Excel or similar. Rorschach
OH. I see. I wonder. Would soul wars be faster than um idk. Aviansies from 80-90 ranged?
colin666
It probably would be but your wouldn't be making an insane amount of money like your would be from aviansies. Keep in mind that you can kill other players with range during the minigame to lower those number even more.

mario_sunny
Thanks for using my guide for data, I appreciate it. : Are you using the value 7.8260869565217391304347826086957 for maxium possible zeal per hour? Also don't forget spending 100 zeal at once gets you a 10% bonus, so you should keep in mind that the zeal you get should actually be multiplied by 1.1. You should continue this with mage/range, prayer, and slayer. \ By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

I'm using 9.0 as the max zeal per hour because 3 games per hour 3 zeal per game = 9. Should I be using your value? As for the 10% multiplier, I left it out because I like to turn my points in 10 at a time (what can I say, I like instant gratification). I plan on making some revisions shortly, as well as adding the other styles (haha imagine a combat 3 with 99 slayer) Thanks for the input! :) Now known as Expl0de.My Defense Pure GuidePlease don't post on forums whilst inebriated. I plan on making some revisions shortly, as well as adding the other styles (haha imagine a combat 3 with 99 slayer) Thanks for the input! :) A full game is 23 minutes (20 minutes for the round + 3 minute postgame period in between games), not 20 minutes. So instead of 60 minutes/20 minutes, you must do 60/23. This equals 2.6. Multiply this by 3 for max zeal per full game, and you get 7.8, the maximum possible zeal per hour. Also... another fact: 186 is the most zeal you can get in a 24 hour period. You should use the 1.1 multiplier. You'll end up getting hundreds of thousands of free experience if you cash in 100 zeal at once, opposed to 10 where you don't get any bonus. That would be the ideal choice for someone who wishes to train their skills at Soul Wars for a long period of time. Don't think I'm bashing your guide... I hope you don't think that. I am very excited about this guide, infact, and want to make sure it is very acurate. :) By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Expl0de
I have now incorporated many new things into a new version of the calc, including a new Max XP and rates for turning points in 100 at a time. Anyone have an idea how to make a function that...: Find's a user's XP in a skill Use that to figure out how much XP/Zeal they get Have the user input how many points they have Use the output of this to show the user's final xp and level Any help would be greatly appreciated.
