Windows Security Update Nagging

Recently I've been noticing that my Computer (Windows) has been nagging me a lot every time I turn off the computer. It seems that everytime I turn off the Computer it will show something like this:

Now this is fine if it was like twice a month or something and when it did happen it would at least tell me if there is an update available. But recently it's been doing this EVERYTIME I LOG IN. It's starting to freak me out because now I don't even get an "an update is available would you like to install?" and even if I don't log onto the internet (like to move files to a USB) it still says

Is it virus or a worm?

EDIT: I figured out why it was doing this, thanks to the conficker Scare my sister put the computer on high Security and thus put automatic install updates. But when I looked further into this I found this.

This is what has been trying to install for the last few weeks and for some weird reason it cannot install. Help?

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

It sounds like your computer didn't correctly download SP3 correctly and the update installation fails. If I was you I would manually download service Pack 3 and install it manually. You can get service pack 3 from HERE.

Does not work, it freezes and Panda keeps detecting something like contest.dll.

EDIT:

Here this keeps popping up T_T

Do I really need this update??? If I don't how can I stop the automatic Update from telling me to download it?

I'm freaked out now. After a few seconds it disappeared but nothing was typed in it.

Do you have office xp on your system?

How can I tell I have it?

Here is the right link to install it. It's not the windows xp SP3 you need but the Office SP3.

It also tells me that the expected version of this product is not detected -_-
