I was thinking of making a strength pure (f2P) but the thought came across my mind of how am I gonna make money? I don't wanna have to raise wc just so I can afford food >.>

As a lower level you could kill cows for cowhides (not sure how good this method is)

 

Dark wizards drop runes pretty often. I killed dark wizards in wildy and banked in Edge...
