Doomdevil321 Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 OK so after all my questions this board is really helpful, but sadly i am loaded questions and once one gets answered 2 more pop into my head. My friends in game get used to my noobishness :) Now i just recently tried pest control which seems pretty easy but it takes a lot of time to get to 100 tokens for the uber exp. My questions are these: 1) Which is the fastest way to level att, str, def? i currently have rune scimmy, rune halberd, rune b axe for weps atm is it worth the time to get 100 tokens in pest control for the xp? or is it better to something like rock crabs, or lesser demon in wizzard tower and train? I am fairly new to combat training i did cows till 30 each, then barbs until 40 att, 40 str, then that lesser demon in wizzard tower with halberd until 40 def. I believe my current stats are 40 attack, 46 or 47 str, 44 or 45 def? now i know i need to train to 60 att/str/def for my charms to do summoning or stats is higher. I would love to get enough green, and gold charms to get to 46 summoning from 16. Anyways summoning im sure will be another post by me, so any help you can give me on this would be great. I'm not an expert for training at the lower levels, but I'd actually suggest something afkable like giant spiders, because you can browse forums whilst training. They do hit alot of 7's though, so bring monkfish (good low cost training food) and full rune. Rock crabs are wayy too crowded with cannons everywhere and people stealing your kills. For the xp at Pest Control, it's different, depending on personal stats, you get more xp per pc point with a 99 stat than a level 40 stat. You also get half xp for what you hit within pest control. Maybe you are confused with what pc USED to be like, there were no 'portal shields' that takes out the attack option, therefore you'd get fast games with lots of xp, which is now impossible. '18k xp + the xp from doing 50 dmg a time' - no, you were either given false info or misunderstood. Also, I am assuming you are around level 60, so do Lost City if you haven't already, get a dragon longsword and train that way. Although the dragon longsword is steriotyped to be a noob weapon, it's slightly better than the dragon scimitar although a bit slower, and MM (Monkey Madness) might be a little difficult for you. homowz Posted April 16, 2009 Share Posted April 16, 2009 dont train at giant spiders yet, you will get hit way to often. id recommend cave crawlers since they drop decent stuff so you ll make a little money and they are AFKable and you can go fish salmons when all ur food is used. otherwise try killing lessers in vulcano dungeon (karamja) and take some bronze knives with you to lure them to the safespot. its not super fast xp, but you can get some nice drops.
