April 27, 200917 yr You need about 9 doses/portions of each. There is no way of making the kitten catch them quicker that I know of, but fully grown cats will catch them much quicker then kittens. Also using a kitten gets very annoying as they take a while to kill one rat. A grown cat is prefered but if a kitten is all you have might as well use it.
