Hard to do now but involves this:

 

 

 

You and a friend each carry 76k worth of items (that is not protected) and stay in a hot zone doing something like casting wind strike which does no damage. (Jagex changed it so you can't do this anymore) This allows you to take no damage and gain drop potential in a safe way. After 1-2 hours you go and bank everything so that one person is risking 26k and the other 76k.

 

 

 

The person carrying 76k then proceeds to kill someone carrying 26k a few times, getting really good drops, more than the 26k the other person lost. You then switch roles so the other person gets their chance at some good drops too.

 

 

 

However Jagex has implemented several fixes so that you cant get potential like this anymore so it doesn't work very well.

 

 

 

I wouldn't recommend it.
