Hi couple questions about the "Notify me when a reply is posted" option at the bottom when replying.

 

 

 

How does it "notify me"? Is it an email? Private message? Some other way?

 

Also, does it work on only threads I have made or will it notify my of any new posts to that topic no matter who is the original author?

It will notify you by email of any replies to any topic you post on. I don't recommend it for Tip.it, it's too active here. Your inbox would be stuffed. :P

You will only receive emails about replies if that topic is listed on your bookmarks/subscriptions list.

 

 

 

ucp.php?i=main&mode=subscribed should work for you...if not, it's Usercontrol panel->Manage Subscriptions
