Hi, i was wondering is infinity good mage armour for someone with 42 def? im doing barrows right now and i know you can use armour but i safe spot so i want good mage bonus. and also i was wondering if its easy to sell after buying.

safe-spotting in the crypts is fine but its a lot harder int he tunnels below and with mystic if you get verac you run a very good chance of taking some heavy dmg.

 

 

 

personally if you want some +mag use mystic, or if you want a bit of def splitbark, but if i ever run i dont find it too tricky to get magic hitting with 70 mag.

You can't safespot in the crypts. If you mean side-stepping to heal, then that won't work; since you have 42 def you would get ripped apart and spend all your time out of combat and eating. If you insist on barrowing with such low def you must wear proselyte and pray on all the brothers. Safe spotting in the tunnels is unreliable and surviving some surprise hits with 42 def isn't likely.

Even with a negative magic bonus you would still hit the barrows brothers as often as you would with max. I would say for you to bring rune to risk less items if you die, and save inventory space.
