Alright I would just like to know whether SC hammers are worth it for smithing/con/craft

Im ok at math but cant really figure this out.

I need some help with this, and also with some SC figures

In 1 hour of SC, how many items can you get? I heard its like 5

In total for each skill for how long do these tools last? (exp wise I suppose, because thats what they are based on I believe

I value all time at 1M/hour

how much exp/costs an hour is addy plates?

In a set time can I make more money/exp rcing then smithing vs Getting sc hammers, then making the money for half the supplies I would regularly need, then smithing?

same question I suppose with crafting green/black dhide bodies and doing con with whatevers efficient?

if this to much to ask then sorry, I just would like to know if these hammers help alot/slow me down/ essentially me break even

In a non-combat clan, you can usually get 4-5 per hour, in a regular SC game, its more like 3 per hour. Hammers and needles are the only tools you should really be using, as they're the only ones that can save you a considerable amount of money. If you can make more than 600k p/hr, then you should use that method instead of SC (unless you enjoy playing it).

You would probably make more money doing double nats than the amount you save doing SC (possibly the same).

I used SC needles 92-99 crafting and they worked very well (I'm not very wealthy and cant make 600k+ per hour). I saved about 20m of the total cost, which is alot to me :).

I suppose the time it takes to use up the item depends upon what you're using it for (I mean like oak planks, teak planks, etc.).

But here's a general formula:

If:

[Money saved] > (0.2 - [time to use item, hours]) x [best money making, gp/hour]

then use the item.

Basically, what I wrote out is:

If

Benefit > Cost

then use the item.
