May 2, 200917 yr New question: where is the PoH house design calc everyone uses? I have used it before, just forgot what site it's on. I finally did Monkey Madness hoping to get AMAZING xp at the Monkey Guards place, with this setup: I was using +15% attack and strength, Melee Protect, and I was at 10hp the whole time, and I still got only 40k Strength XP per hour. At Giant Spiders in the SoS, I got at least 55-60k per hour, with no prayer. What happened? Stats:
May 2, 200917 yr The only reason I can think of is that with your stats Dharoks wasn't as effective as the whip while you were at giant spiders. Also to be honest I'm shocked that you managed anywhere near 45k/hr at giant spiders with no potions, let alone 55k+.
May 2, 200917 yr Dharoks sucks. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

I used the same potions (just strength pots) at both places. I really don't think that's fast enough xp for the cost/time invested. Dharoks sucks. -.-
May 2, 200917 yr how can u only get 40k xp?? i can get 70-75k there... (do u use piety etc?) also, never keep ur hp at 10, just let it rise till 16, put off ur pray at let them hit you.. you get best hit/xp when ur hp stays around 1-5. May 2, 200917 yr The other option is to go with a faster weapon. Whip and defender are a better training weapon then a great axe.
May 2, 200917 yr Dharok's doesn't have that fast of a hit rate, even though it hits high at low Hp. It doesn't always hit high. Try going with a whip and defender, or a Gs or Ss to the Monkeys.
