So i just got owned by the king troll, pretty badly infact. Here are my levels

Can anyone suggest some tactics?

Wear the wooden shield you make during the quest,use good food and pray range.If that doesn't work train the melee stats a bit more.

 

PS:Don't write in so many different colours.It's just annoying and useless.

Protect from missles prayer. You really should get 43 prayer to do the quests with the trolls. This is an incredible help, even with prayer it can get pretty difficult. Just make sure to bring good food also.

Okay, i have bought enough dragon bones for 43 prayer.

123 Dragon Bones used on a gilded altar with both burners lit will get you 40 pray.(range protection).

 

175 Dragon Bones used on a gilded altar with both burners lit will get you 43 pray.(melee protection).

 

252 xp/dragon bone with both burners lit.

You will see something like "Open altar".That means that the person is using his altar and gives other players the opportunity to use it too.

From the quest guide on Tip.It:

 

"As with other trolls, he is weak to poison and most easily killed with melee. DO NOT USE MELEE PROTECTION - if you do, he will throw you across the room."

 

Pray range on him and use good food.

okay thanks all, i bought myself 200 dragon bones, and found a gilded alter with the thingys lighted, and w0w got myself 2 combat levels (82 now) and 44 prayer... i will try prayerrangeing it
