I've never really known, preferably I'd like to know how to do this in Graphics Gale, but Paint Shop Pro and Paint will help too, anyone, please?

use the eraser tool....

on the good layer then that wil be transarant..... :P

Not the eraser!!

you can use the pen tool to create custom shapes, then right click inside->Make selection, then find the layer you want to delete from, then press the 'delete' key, or you can use the lasso tools, or shape tools....but the eraser should be a last resort o.O

make sig > cut sig > forget exact sequence, but make a new background making sure its transparent (grey and white squares by default) > paste as new layer > delete unwanted areas > save as gif

im not sure in graphics gale or psp but I do KNOW that you have to save it as a gif or png. You can also use gif works for transparencies

I use that. Even easier. Save as png, load it, select the color of transperancy. No downloads required. 8)
