Range Slaying

I'm bored of having such a bad range level and although the skill makes me want to claw my eyes out i have come up with a theory that if i couple it with a skill i like a hell of alot then it might not be so bad.

 

So I'll be doing slayer using ranged and i have a few questions:

 

 

 

1) How many bolts? I currently am waiting for 5K broad bolts to come through and then i might need monies for the 2K emerald (e) bolts (for iron/steel drag tasks) is this enough? or plenty?

 

 

 

2) set up: Archer Helm, Fury, Red Dhide, Snakeskin Boots, Spirit shield (normal not blessed too poor :( ), rune cbow, ava's device, and ring of life (too poor to afford archers ring >.>)..... is this ok for slayer?

 

 

 

3) Finally is there any particular slayer master i should use for rangeable tasks? I know duradel doesn't set anything in slayer caves it seems; which are perhaps the most rangeable monsters...... so keep to duradel or go to summona?

2. Replace ring of life with Ring of wealth on a very high majority of the tasks. Dont bother with the Archer ring - its useless unless you have, well, 8m (exta money)

 

 

 

3. Sumona SUCKS. Chaeldar is best for NON CANNON tasks that you can range.

2. Why ring of wealth? when i wore it for months when i first became a member and i never ever got a clue scroll..... ever since i've been wearing warriors/berzerker ring i've had more clues than i know what to do with :P

2. RoW doesnt give higher chances of a Clue, it gives higher chances of good drops.

 

I stopped using it for a while 'cause I thought it was crap. Never needed RoL so I got RoW back, got 5 snapdragon seeds in a Turoth task, and then 5 Tooth halves in a Fire Giant task. My luck :P

 

 

 

3. You could take a stab at Duradel. Lots of his tasks are VERY bad to range (in comparison to Chaeldars anyway). Sumona's have little safespots.
