im currently at 80 mining and was wondering wether the switch to members for granite mining is worht it now? or shoud i just stick to iron powerming

Well, with exceptions.

 

 

 

Firemaking being one of them. Even though members get the Ring and Gloves, the time it takes to get them overrides the bonus they give. So you're better off not getting the Ring and Gloves, and therefore f2p and p2p are equal for firemaking, unless you are rich and burn magics/eucs.

 

 

 

Anyway, while many things are more efficient in p2p, not all of them are more efficient to the same degree. Let's take a look.

 

 

 

Fastest f2p rc xp is like 8k. In p2p it's 50k-ish.

 

 

 

Fastest f2p combat xp is 45k per hour. In members that's over 150k per hour.

 

 

 

For mining, it's over double, but far from triple. (35k vs. 80k)

 

 

 

Fastest f2p magic xp is about 90k per hour. Although it can go up to 200k per hour in p2p, for the same cost as f2p you get 130k per hour with String Jewelry, and for less cost for Plank Make.

Oh no. If you're planning to use the method to get 70-80k, it ain't going to be easier on your hand.

 

 

 

But if you DON'T use that method and mine granite NORMALLY, yes, it would be easier on your hand, but you'd only get around 60k.
