In other news, I downloaded Steam today to play Portal on and whatnot, but I can't seem to get it to connect. <_<

 

Any ideas? It just says I should check my firewall and internet connection, which I did.

I had the same problem yesterday. It magically fixed itself when I tried again a few hours ago :rolleyes:

 

On a semi-related note, I played portal for about an hour (Damn laggy laptop >.>) and got up to the room with the spinning thing that shoots orange portals and I was like... [bleep] this... it was too slow to be enjoyable :/
