Where you want to go is your choice but I'm pretty sure the Navy deals out the most cash. I'm pretty sure if you go into NROTC you can get up to 180,000, and I'm pretty sure thats not including the GI bill. I'm not sure if I want to get a college degree at all, but if I do I'm definitely going to do it while im in the service. I actually have a theory that college will soon become near obsolete. Ask 99% of people what they are gonna do after high school, go to college. If 99% of people go to college why are they special? They aren't. So its going to get to the point where they are going to have to make a new level of school or everyone is equal except for like those in the medical field, or other fields which require more education. There are college's where you can make your own major now. So thats why I want to be special forces, be the best, and there is ALWAYS somebody who needs killin'. Yeah, I was thinking about trying the Navy's fireman program, but it turns out it's more swimming/salvage based and I'm not the best distance swimmer so it'd rip me apart lol. Apparently you do rocket chairs in the ocean (rocking your feet over your head) and I've read that they have you fill up a mask with water and do flutter kicks. so more waterboarding than drowning, its essentially so you know when you are actually drowning if it ever happens. Also they'll rip the mouthpiece out of your mouth in scuba phase and shut off your air or tie a knot and you have to fix it.
