My friend showed me this route, and i try to show as many people the route when i can, and i figured i would try and show the people using this guide the nifty shortcut.

if you follow the bright blue path i have shown, all you do is run that way for the 1st arrow, and then go through the bushes, no agility required, you can just walk through them. that gets you to the boat which you can take to barrows. I don't know how fast it compares to the yellow route, but i know for sure that it is WAY faster than the current dark blue route. hopefully more people can utilize that ;)

The tree route is really faster because underground, there are no ghasts there

The dark blue route is for people who haven't completed In Search of the Myreque, which is required to use the boat. I think your route might take longer because, combined with the run from the bank, it is quite a long ways. I'll try it out and see what happens :)

Well I conducted a time trial and it seems the underground route works best. The route you show is a possible alternative, and while it is faster than the current dark blue route, it's because those using the dark blue route wouldn't be able to use the boat shortcut. :P
