I'd prefer it to be a balance of speed and price so that way its either not slow or too costly. But it will take a while. as long as it doesnt take 4 days to both gather and do, im fine with it. i think you can also do blast furnace and make mith bolts, i think you can actually make money on this way, but would take some time though. (oh and an SC hammer for smithing, takes a LONG time before it's effect wears off. i think it's around 40K, so you might want to take that in regard.) anyway blast furnace should be one of the most cost effective ways.
