My friend destroyed his cyan crystal and 2 mirrors..now when he loots the chest it says that it is empty. Can anyone help?

The chest will always be empty, just click "collect" on the collector and pull the lever. That should bring everything back to his inventory should he wish it. (This resets the whole maze however).
