June 19, 200917 yr Well, i got to 81 slayer, and aberrant tasks start to get kind of boring. So, i want to speed them up with a cannon. Is cannoning aberrants in Sumona's well a big waste of money? I never used cannons before, so no idea how much cannonballs are needed per task. Also, i tried farming once and my potatoes died, put me off forever.
June 19, 200917 yr You easily make money from cannoning spectres. Bring a beast of burden to bank some extra drops.
June 19, 200917 yr I would take a macaw and pick up any herbs ranarr+. It would be very efficient if you set your house location to Pollnivneach. Pick up herbs until you have 5 spaces (for cannon parts and cannonballs), pick up your cannon, teleport out to Castle Wars or some other area with a Bank nearby, bank, and repeat. Pros: Lots of profit. Teleporting gives you a chance to recharge prayer, so less pots used. You don't have to pay for cannonballs (sort of.) Speed of cannoning and time of banking cancel out, so the task is still sort of the same speed. Cons: Lots of banking. Task MAY take longer than normal. SLAYERGEEK

Cons: Task MAY take longer than normal. I leave my Cannon there, nobody can come up and steal it, I believe. I use 2-3 Prayer potions and 1k cannon balls, and still make profit, however, I don't bring a BoB, as they tend to attack the spectres and get killed #-o I'm pretty sure that it takes less time as well, as I recently didn't have the funds to cannon, so I melee'd them, and it took about 2 hours, rather then the 30 mins - 1 hour for the cannon.
June 19, 200917 yr Just take 2 birds or so in case one dies. Make 1 trip otherwise your slowing down your exp for minimal cash and ruining the efficiency of the cannon.
