range/mage?

Hey is it smart for me to get 60 range(for the d bow) 60 magic (for the master wand/mage book).

 

 

 

I am planning on being a range/mage 1 def pure and I am working towards getting the stat requirements for desert treasure. One drawback is that I would have to ge tmy prayer to nine (reward from priest in peril) but all in all is this a sound plan?

dbow is only useful for the spec with dragon arrows. otherwise its way too slow.

 

 

 

and master wand/mages book are a waste for pking, theyre expensive and wont protect over the majority of items.

 

theyre basically to show off that you have 60 magic and money. so if you want that, sure.

 

 

 

for pking, an unholy book is much more useful, its +8 attack to all offensive stats and if you lose it you just have to talk to the guy at the lighthouse.
