vettro
Recently I got addicted to Stealing Creation. What should I spend my points on? I was considering a part of the range outfit. Which part would you suggest? Thanks.
IzzetGuildmage
Depends on what you want to train, really :P I personally like the hats, transforming it into a mage hat to get double xp for magic and either cast damage spells in minigames such as Fist of Guthix or Soul Wars. Another option is to wear full sacred clay (melee), (mystic) mud (battle)staff and snakeskin boots/black d'hide vambraces and use the highest level body rune/soul rune spell you have. You will splash every spell and get the most out of your rune investments. I've also used Sacred Clay to make Fletching knifes, hammers for smithing and construction, and hatchets for willow chopping. I'm also addicted to the game, especially one-iteming with a class 4 or 5 dagger, or just making runes and using ancient magicks to bother every skiller or lower level account. Thieving is also a huge part of SC and I tend to either stay away from fog banks, or stay in one and either pickpocket or ice burst whoever passes by :). I don't really see the items I get as costing me time, because I'm enjoying SC so much. Heck, I'm going for 80 hunter and thieving atm solely for Stealing Creation! EDIT: Just remember that wearing a full set DOES NOT give more xp the moment they're used. They merely last longer. It is advised to get, for example, an SC coif and wear full dragonhide while training. Lordtunkuta
Morphic tools. Especially if you're thinking about raising con or smith in the future.
IzzetGuildmage
Oh yeah. Whatever you buy, never, EVER get volatile tools. They give 2,2x xp rather than 2x, but they change back after half an inventory of whatever you're obtaining/processing, and it's just a pain to skill with. Always get morphic if any. IzzetGuildmage
It works for cursing and the higher level variety, which is a little more costy but comparable to alching (mud staff + full SC melee outfit and you just pay for the body/soul rune).
