Luring Emerald Benedict?

Featured Replies

I've been doing some cooking in the Rogues Den and I'm trying to find out if there is any way to lure Emerald Benedict so that he stands where I want him. He seems to stand in one place for a very long time, but sometimes he wanders pretty far away from the fire.

I can get him to face me by just talking to him, but nothing I do will make him walk. I've tried banking from a few steps away, banking and walking away, and collecting GE items from a distance and walking away. Nothing worked, and I'm out of ideas.

I've just been switching worlds if he's too far away, but I'd love it if I didn't have to.

If anyone has a suggestion, please let me know.

I'm thinking maybe you can block him with familiars and/or Dwarf Cannon... but for direct luring I don't think it's possible.

Current goals:

Hunter 78/80

Smithing 70/80

Runecrafting 58/60

Strength 96/99

Defense 45/46

Prayer 72/95

Dungeoneering 85/100

I believe you talk to him then walk which way you want him to go.

Orthodoxy is unconciousness

the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

Talk to him then run several spaces away from him, he will start to wander, its not possible to influence his position just hope he gets close then bank quickly. This doesn't work if people keep banking because he just freezes again. This is also the reason why i did the Varrock Diary, bank next to stove.
