Featured Replies

right now my skills are

73 attack

74 strength

69 def (lol)

54 pray

i am a level 95 combat but i want to go to god wars and probably do bandos with a team. what are good skills to have and where is a good place to train them up.

thanks

Get defense up to 70 for barrows. Get 60/70 prayer (Chiv/Piety) (chiv now, piety at 80+ melees). Have at least 52 summoning (go as high as you can). Then you might be able to get on a a few bando mass trips. If you manage to do the above and get 90 range then you can practically do any gwd boss (70 agility for saradomin).

Do Defender of Varrock quest, get a salve amulet, enchant it by completing Tairn's Lair and go to armored zombies to train.

I like ape atoll to train melee stats but I think its ineffective till 80+ attack, so you can pot to 90+.

A place I havnt trained but I have heard about is bandits. Just wear a sara or zammy item and stand there with very high def (preferably guthans) and the bandits will always be aggresive. (just what I've heard).

As for gwd theres a section in Archive of Wisdom all about gwd.

bandits are overcrowded and slow exp. armoured zombies from defender of varrok are good, use salve and +15 att/str prays and maybe def too, theres an altar right outside so pray use is no issue here

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

Don't bother with bandos, the only way you'l get in a half decent team which can actually get a world and hold it against the hundreds of other teams looking for worlds to crash is by being a 130+ with an Ags and even then you get masses and huge teams trying to crash you constantly every other kill, or by going in a ls mass in which the lsp you will recive is pittiful with the amount of people in it. :wall:

You may want to consider ranging, mind you 70+. If you don't get at least defence 70-75. Prayer 65-70 would help as well. Bones to peaches if prayer fails.

It would also be a fair idea to get your other combat stats up a little.

Train using slayer, let the masters decide. \'

Also keep in mind that you'll need to wear "god items" when going to godwars, If you haven't allready, do Temple of Ikov to obtain armadyl pendant, and if you choose to range, Saradomin/Zamorak coif/vambraces would help.
