No warning, no warning at all,

part 1

Blaze Sharpeye loved his job. He got to help guard the kingdom, he got a great view of the surrounding country side, from his perch atop the beacon hill, and best of all he got to watch adventurers light huge FIRES inside of his beacon, to help test it.

It was on one of these typical days, that blaze got an unusual visitor. This figure was clothed in dark black robes, made slight growling noises as he muttered to him self, and smelled faintly like a wet dog.

The stranger approached blaze, and asked him if he could inform him about how the beacons work. Blaze just thought this man might be here to help test the beacon, so he did his best to explain how the beacon networks operate. The man listened intently, through blazes lengthy explanation. I just have one question, the stranger said, what would happen if you aren't around to sound the alarm, when the danger comes. What do you mean, Blaze said, Guarding this beacon is my job, and I wont leave it unguarded as long as I live. Well, we will see about that, the stranger replied, and turned to leave. Wait!... Blaze was about to ask him, who he was, but was stopped by a swift club to the head from behind him.

The stranger heard, blaze's unconscious body fall, and started to walk back up the stairs. Well done James, he said, as he got to the top, and greeted his companion. Thank you Denis, James replied.

Denis gestured to the Blazes body, Is he dead, James?

No, he's just unconscious, the Vampires need all the live blood they can get.

That is good.

Denis pats James on the shoulder,

One down, only 2 more to go, and then the route to Varrock is clear.

First, we have to hide this body were no one will find it.

Lets hide it in the Mort Myre swamp, almost no one goes there, and it is only a short distance, to the Draken castle.

Once Denis and James, dragged blaze, far enough into Mort Myre, they started to head back to the River salve

Right, lets see if we can trick Squire Fire, the same way we tricked blaze, said James.

And with that, the 2 figures headed off into the darkness.

**********

At Squire's beacon, She too was approached, by Denis, he was running up the steps, shouting for help.

Whats wrong? Squire asked. *Denis takes a minute to catch his breath* I was just helping to test the beacons, and I saw that at Blaze's Beacon, there was blood on the ground, and it looks like he got dragged into Mort Myre.

Oh no! Squire said, Something must be about to attack the Kingdom! I Must sound the alarm, Saradomin help us.

But Squire turned around to Light the beacon, but finds James between her and it.

I cant let you do that, Squire, said James, as he clubbed her over the head.

Nice work again, James, said Denis, We just have to drag her back into Mort Myre, I have got someone else to take care of Orrey, he will meet us at the spot we are leaving these people.

Mean while, at Orrey's beacon, yet another stranger showed up to talk to him. Do you like your job, Guarding the beacon? the Stranger asked.

Well, I like the job, but it gets really tempting, to leave my post, because I get very thirsty standing out in the hot sun all day, and there is a pub right behind me, Orrey explained.

Well since you are doing such a good job in defending the kingdom, ill buy you a beer, said the stranger.

That would be really helpful, thank you kind sir, Orrey replied.

The stranger went into the bar, and ordered a beer, but as he started to bring it back to Orrey, he slipped a pill into it.

Thank you very much, said Orrey, after he drank his beer, that is just what I needed to keep me on my feet....... Just as he finished his sentence, Orrey passed out, as the pill took effect, and the stranger dragged His body back into Mort Myre.

Congratulations, Uri, Denis praised, as this third companion returned to their camp.

We had better start to drag the bodies back to Draken's Castle, and also to notify them that the mission was a success, Uri suggested.

Yes, we had better, agreed James, the rout to Varrock is now open.

End of Part one.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: If you like this story, please comment on it, if enough people think it is good, I wil continue the series into the attack on Varrock, and The Final stand .

lots of money is tainted, it taint yours, and it taint mine

I could barely read it. It was plagued with commas where there should be periods, periods where there should be commas, capitalization errors, sentence structure problems. A confusing mess.

It's a good start, I recommend reading the Coffee Shoppe's Puncuation 101 guide which can be found in the library. I would like to see more, others would likely read it if the punctuation was fixed.
