i checked out the FAQ and looked around for trojan.keylogger help, but to no avail :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have a keylogger to start off with, I use Spysweeper and Norton, but only Norton catches it. Heres where it gets tricky, Its a .dll file so norton keeps bugging me but does nothing about it. i cant delete it manually, and im scared to since i dont know much about computers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

what should i do to get it out without damaging my computer, and another question, will an onscreen keyboard bypass the keylogger or is it recorded as keystrokes also?

Norton probably can't do anything to it because it is in use. Try rebooting in safe mode and running a scan.

 

 

 

If you need more help please provide a little more information like your os and version of norton.

No, keyloggers will record onscreen keyboard strokes too.

and if i scan in safemode that gives me the ability to delete it right? but if i delete it wont that screw up my comp, hence norton wont do it for me?

HijackThis log would be good. but try scans in safemode first tho

i use gipo@utilties to remove stuff manually, saves time

ok, safemode delete didnt work, nothing happens. alhtough on safe mode i can access the file but its in ANSI or MIME or sumthing, but i know sumthings messed up in it, like i see *getkey___* or sumthing like that that isnt coded, but i cant alter the file in any way.
