Visual Basic Question

Featured Replies

hey everyone,

I am currently attempting to make a game in Visual Basic 5 for a school assessment. Both my computer at home and schools computers have Visual Basic 5 installed. The game is running quite smoothly with only 1 minor problem. When I upload the game to work on it at school all the controls on the form and the form itself becomes distorted. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m pretty sure it is not a resolution issue although it might be anything. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d really appreciate it if you have any suggestions to overcome this problem.

thanks

hmm, how about hard-coding the positions of everything in the form?

i.e.

say that you want a command button on y=30 x=30. In form.load code the positions of everything you want, also the form size and sizes of everything. this way it CAN'T go wrong...hopefully hehe :D

The more forms I added and graphics, the slower and more distorted it would be. I never found a reasoning for it, so I gave it up.

Less forms > frustration

- Only character in Runescape History maxed out in RSC and RS2
