Ok so You have to take the severed/sandy hand from Hand in the sand quest and Back to my roots to the guy in Mage Guild but I didn't know about the side quest.. I dropped the hand and I don't know how to get it back I tried everything.. I need heeeelp D: (you have to kill creatures in the jade vine mini game for pieces of the guy's body or whatever free 10k mage xp and runes when u complete) that mini quest but I need the hand first and idk how to get it back -.-....

According to the guide, the hand is found at the RPDT. Have you looked there?
