Loading Runescape

Ok I just got my laptop back from the "shop" and i'm trying to get it to load RS. I use firefox and the SwiftKit browser. But when i try yo load i get this message:

 

 

 

-Create a new directory called c:\rscache or /rscache. If possible, set that directory to have full read and write permissions, so that all users can write to it. RuneScape should then detect that directory and use it for its files.

 

 

 

-Login to your computer as an 'administrator' user and then try loading RuneScape again. This should give RuneScape sufficient access to update itself.

 

 

 

-Upgrade to a newer version of Java by going to www.java.com and downloading and installing the latest version.

 

 

 

I am the admin, and im running Java version 6, but when i go to the site it says i sould get version 6 upgrade 14. Idk if i should do that, and idk how to create a new directory.

 

 

 

Any help is appreciated. I also am able to play, but i can only play on SD and would like to play on HD. Thanks.

The easiest way to create a new directory and ensure its got the same name would be to copy and paste this into the command prompt (start -> run [search if your on vista]-> hit enter).

 

MD "c:\rscache"

 

 

 

I would download the latest Java as they normally help with a lot of things.

 

 

 

Download CCleaner and remove all the current versions of Java you havem then go to java's site and download the latest version and install it.
