Is it possible? I've only been to TDS once, and I want to try it again, without risking much. I will have D hally/brews/war torts, but I don't wanna risk much in terms of armor.

I've seen some in black d hide top with prossy legs... its the same thing but you get hit harder because of the low bonuses. The better the armor the harder the die because they will miss more often. Imo if your good at prayer switching then your armor doesn't really matter and theres a lower risk of dead/more kills per trip.

With the best gravestone you can die and reach your gear in time if you set your respawn point in Lumbridge. Even without super energies this works. I know this from first-hand experience : .

If my respawn is fally, can't I just tele to lumby? And it isn't about not making it back, it's about learning the ropes before I try to actually TDS.

Welfare gears do fine at TDs. I can use a whole titan with scrolls without needing to eat, using void, which has low defense. You just need experience with them, which you'll get by killing them. So yeah, black d'hide is fine for TDs.
