servants and houses

are servants needed for a functional house? I'm thinking about building an efficient house with only the rooms that i would find useful but it says you need 2 bedrooms if you plan on getting a servant. I can tele and bank without the use of a servant, so i really don't find much use for him.

servants are good for convenience. there's nothing nicer than being able to stay at a pot for hours. it costs a bit more but it speeds up the process greatly. also, having to go through seeing a picture of a home twice when you use teleports every 10 seconds makes it possible to go by 2x speed by using servants.

Servants are very useful, but dont use the demon butler, instead, use the normal butler, he can only carry 20 items, but that is 5 oak larders per 2 trips. On the first trip you remove the oak larder then make 2 oak larders and remove the last one, the second trip, you build three oak larders. By using that method, if you have no lag, you will probably be able to do non stop constructing. Also, as soon as you get to lvl 74, you can build oak doors which is 10 planks each, which is perfect. Demon butlers carry 26 items but rarely you have enough inventory room to carry 26 planks.

One last note, with the SC hammers and building oak doors, you are able to bring 5 hammers at a time, but that is not possible with oak larders because your inventory will alternate between 20 and 24 planks, and you first four items will always be Cash, noted planks, hammer and saw.

Hope i helped.

PS: here are some rooms to have on ground floor: 2 tele rooms, 2 studies, quest hall, altar and throne room, all other rooms are personal preference.
