Welcome to Games4Fun! We stress enough to get players around the globe to join us in our Games4Fun events, with both F2P communities, and P2P. Read on for more information, while we get you started on our details, and contact information.

Games4Fun is hosted by community members of both F2P worlds, and P2P in which hosted events will be held. These events may carry on throughout worlds, in which the event is based on. In order to maintain fun in our Games4Fun community, please remember rules are important! We want to make sure everyone has a great time, and without these rules things might go in the direction we don't want them to go. ;)

The main rules above show the details of what our clan wants from you. We don't want to see clan members disrespect the rules, because it doesn't make it fun for us to kick you out. ;) We encourage fair play, and that's what we want to see from you, and our community.

* The clan chat is not a Grand Exchange area, so please keep your buying/selling needs out of the chat.

 

* Please remember respect goes a long way, and having this gets you a better seat in our events!

 

* Helping with events also helps, please ask if you wish to give a helping hand in any kind of event.

 

* Adverts for our events are most helpful, while obtaining more players in the community for basic events.

* Can I become an event member, by taking part in events?

 

 

 

We accept all members to join our events, even if you're a player of the free worlds. We host different events in both worlds, as an example: Castle Wars, Clan Wars, Soul Wars, Fist of Guthix etc. If you are going to become apart of the event, you may do so by joining our clan chat: Games4funrs, or posting here on the forums.

 

 

 

* How do I promote the events?

 

 

 

You can promote the events by attending! As long as we see you're here, we know you've done your best to join the Games4Fun RuneScape community.

 

 

 

* What are the times for these events?

 

 

 

We will be posting the events in different time zones, so please notice these changes. Time zones may be different when different hosts are hosting an event.

 

 

 

* What do you mean "German/French" communities?

 

 

 

Some of our event hosts speak German/French, as we must include them as well! The German events will be hosted in a German world, and our French events will be hosted in French worlds. German/French non-speaking players may join in the events as well. Please note these events will be held every week in these non-English worlds.

 

 

 

* Can I help out?

* If I can't make an event, will I be kicked out?

 

 

 

No, if you can't make an event there's no need to worry. Most players might not be able to make events if they're held in different time zones. Remember to search your time zone, on our English/German/French event post guide.

 

 

 

* Can I speak other languages in the Clan Chat?

 

 

 

Since our community is aimed for English/German/French we'd say no. The main clan chat: Games4Funrs is an English clan chat. Other clan chats are being created!

* When I host events does that make me apart of the Games4Fun administration?

 

 

 

When you donate your time to help host these events, we make you apart of our administraton. This means you'll be able to help us with future events, and be able to answer questions to new event players. Please keep in mind to redirect yourself to the FAQ, and Guildness for more help, and information.

 

 

 

* If I want to join the administration, how do I?

 

 

 

The administration of the basic clan events are players who've donated their time to help. If you want to join, please fill out the form on the post above. We're likely to accept you no matter what!

 

 

 

* Will there be a German/French thread in the proper language forums, of Games4Fun events?

 

 

 

We're likely to start a German/French campaign very soon. Keep your eyes on this thread for the latest news, and updates in the future.

 

 

 

* If I'm a speaker of the German/French languages, can I just host those languages only?

 

 

 

Yes, you can. We might hold different events on the same day for both English/German/French, so all help is needed for those languages! We've only had a few in the English worlds, now it's time to extend our community power!

 

 

 

* Can I advertise my events on this thread?

 

 

 

Normally we allow something like this, but you'll have to contact our adminstration for more details.

 

 

 

**ENLISH/GERMAN/FRENCH COMMUNITY EVENTS**

 

 

 

The English/German/French community events are held by different hosters. Keep in mind these hosts might not be able to hold different events on the same day, but we're working on it! You can view the clan chat: Games4funrs for more details on each event. Time zones will be a problem for some players wanting to attend every event. Events are held every week, so please keep in mind of the dates/times/worlds/languages

Summary: Hide and Seek

 

 

 

Our first event of the closing summer time will be a game of Hide and Seek with our F2P community. We will be starting in Lumbrige with a few basic community hosts on details of the event. We will meet behind the Lumbrige castle for a quick meeting, and then will be heading off to our Hide and Seek first round.

 

 

 

You will be able to hide ANYWHERE around Lumbrige, but not in the following areas:

**CLAN CHATS**

 

 

 

Games4Funrs community's clan chat is a basic English clan chat for the English worlds. At this time we are creating different clan chats that will be based for the German/French communities. Keep in mind these clan chats are for basic community events, and not a shopping/buying clan.

 

 

 

The clan chat's ranked members will be able to give you information about events, rules and guildness of our main Games4Fun RuneScape community.

Ranked Member Guildness

 

 

 

* Recruit - Members who've attended events throughout the course of three weeks.

 

* Captain - Player Moderator helpers, or members who've donated their time to host an event.

 

* General - Administration event hosters, Jagex moderators, and respected players of the community.

 

 

 

These ranks are not handed out by resquest! Please make yourself a great community member, and be respectful to all players. Joining the clan will not make you a ranked member so quickly! You can join the administration to host events, and you might be considered for a rank. :)

 

 

 

We don't give auto ranks, because of our kick option, which might cause some rouge ranked users to go a little crazy sometimes. ;) Remember to keep in mind the guildness to a ranked member, and how to be apart of the community.

 

 

 

** RANKED GULDNESS**

 

 

 

* Can I become an auto ranked member by attending all events?

 

 

 

You may become a ranked member by attending at least three weeks of events. One event is held every week, but we do keep track of people who attend! If you cannot attend every week we do udnerstand. :)

 

 

 

* Can I have the option to kick while ranked?

 

 

 

This option is not to be abused by any ranked member. The option is clearly for the use to keep offensive users out the clan, and to make the community a safer place. We do not abuse the clan members, nor will we kick them from the clan for no reason. Keep this in mind while in our clan chat.

 

 

 

** F2P & P2P GUILDNESS AND INFORMATION **

 

 

 

The F2P community is considered to be apart of the main RuneScape community as well. We want to make sure we make sure EVERYONE has a big role, and makes sure EVERYONE as fun as well. Please take a close look at the guildness, before submitting any questions, or comments.

** CLAN GUILDNESS **

 

 

 

In order to be your best within the clan follow our clan guildness. The clan guildness will allow you to find out information about what you should do, and what you cannot do in the clan or clan chat.

 

 

 

* Remember to be your best within the clan. Being your best will encourage others to try their best, no matter what the cause or conflict is.

 

* Being respectful is important to the whole community, and giving respect will earn you your own respect.

 

* "Directing offences astray" one of our mottos is "Directing offences astray", meaning keep offences away from our clan! Meaning remember that the 'Report Abuse' button is below, and is ready for the use for offensive users.

 

* Being a help advertiser for community events is important to get more people involved with community events. We respect all those who want to attract more community members, and it's important for us to do so.

 

* Having self confidence is important to all players of the community, and we encourage for them to have this type of confidence.

 

* Being a team player throughout events might also help here! If you've brought a friend to an event, you might not be on the same team! This means you must be a team player for your team, and for the players on the other side as well.

 

* Speaking languages of other nationalities is important to the community so all players feel welcome within our own community. This is why our basic German/French communities have been added to our lonely English community. It's time to combine each other, and have some real fun!

 

* Being helpful to one another with information/rules/guildness is also important for players to get along. If you have to remind another member of the event rules, or the game rules please do so! We enourage helping, and always love to see a player "lending a helpful hand".

 

* Promoting events is important to our community, as our clan must grow larger! The more members we have, the better events we're able to host.

 

 

 

** GAMES4FUN COMPETITIONS **

 

 

 

In order to have some real fun events we might go against our own clan members in a team duel. This means we might be spending some time in Clan Wars, Castle Wars, Soul Wars etc. We might even face our brother/sister clan: German, Games4Fun, or French, Games4Fun. This means we must be a team spirited clan, and enjoy the basic event which is held each week. Normally this does not mean we will go against our own clan in a battle/event. We might also hold events against other community clans as well.

August 10, 2009

 

 

 

Today we had a blast with a ton of F2pers with our community events such as:

 

 

 

- Clan Wars

 

- Hide and Seek

 

- Racing

 

- Guess That

 

- Cannon Ball fun! [German]

 

 

 

Many players played with us, and our community grew. This week's events we're trying to make as large as possible, and don't want people to feel left out. We're always trying to encourage players to play for fun, and not for the winning part of the game. Normally we think it's good to win, but really it's good to take a role in the game itself.

 

 

 

We're hosting an event every week, and we are making our rounds to different servers, and languages! Some of our hosts will be hosting German events this week, and next week French! We hope to see you there tomorrow, so you can also join in on the fun!
