I've been talking with some F2P players, and they think that apart of the F2P communities are totally left out of events, and gatherings alike. I've also tried to take a role in the F2P community by talking to players in Clan Wars, Fist of Guthix, Varrock Sq and more. It's quite interesting, and fun in fact! You get to meet a lot of nice players, and also spend sometime with local citizens of the F2P worlds. I am trying to get the F2P community recognized, because most F2P players I've observed said or are saying; "I'm bored, there's nothing fun to do around here". Well, I say to them why don't you play Clan Wars, or another mini-game? Some of them say the clans there are too small, and there's also not enough players to play with them. I've come to realize that F2P players really have nothing, so I'm also trying with a few of my friends to get together with the F2P communities, and help them out with events etc. I'm also posting this thread to make you aware that F2P players exist, and they should have proper RuneScape gatherings, and events like P2P players do! For an example if you have a clan war, play it in a non-members world! Are you bored? Visit a non-members world, and play a game of Clan Wars. I've asked many people to help join us by gathering in a non-members world and play some games with them, or even talk with them. If you want to gather with us our clan chat is: Games4funrs and we will be gathering together every week for some F2P fun! I'm posting this to make aware that there are F2P players, and they also deserve events, and gatherings too!

Welcome to Games4Fun! We stress enough to get players around the globe to join us in our Games4Fun events, with both F2P communities, and P2P. Clan Chat: Games4Funrs Games4Fun is hosted by community members of both F2P worlds, and P2P in which hosted events will be held. Remember to search your time zone, on our English/German/French event post guide. * Can I speak other languages in the Clan Chat? Since our community is aimed for English/German/French we'd say no. We don't need this because we have our own thread of advertisement, and there is simply no need for it. * Can I promote an event in my signature? The administration of the basic clan events are players who've donated their time to help. If you want to join, please fill out the form on the post above. We're likely to accept you no matter what! * Will there be a German/French thread in the proper language forums, of Games4Fun events? We're likely to start a German/French campaign very soon. Keep your eyes on this thread for the latest news, and updates in the future. * If I'm a speaker of the German/French languages, can I just host those languages only? Yes, you can. We might hold different events on the same day for both English/German/French, so all help is needed for those languages! We've only had a few in the English worlds, now it's time to extend our community power! * Can I advertise my events on this thread? Normally we allow something like this, but you'll have to contact our adminstration for more details. **ENLISH/GERMAN/FRENCH COMMUNITY EVENTS** The English/German/French community events are held by different hosters. Events are held every week, so please keep in mind of the dates/times/worlds/languages Date: August 15, 2009 World: 3 [F2P, English] Clan Chat: Games4Funrs Location: Lumbrige Time: 2-3pm Eastern Time Zone (United States) Summary: Hide and Seek Our first event of the closing summer time will be a game of Hide and Seek with our F2P community. We will be starting in Lumbrige with a few basic community hosts on details of the event. We will meet behind the Lumbrige castle for a quick meeting, and then will be heading off to our Hide and Seek first round. You will be able to hide ANYWHERE around Lumbrige, but not in the following areas: - AlKharid - Draynor Village - Varrock - Falador - Port Sarim - Barbarian Village - Mining Essence Area You MAY hide in the following areas - Lumbrige - Lumbrige Swamp - Wizards Tower - Lumbrige Castle - Lumbrige Shops - Lumbrige Guide areas - Lumbrige Basement - Lumbrige Saradomin Church - Lumbrige Saradomin Graveyard The event is held by three different rounds, and in the basic time of three hours. These ranks are not handed out by resquest! Please make yourself a great community member, and be respectful to all players. Joining the clan will not make you a ranked member so quickly! You can join the administration to host events, and you might be considered for a rank. :) We don't give auto ranks, because of our kick option, which might cause some rouge ranked users to go a little crazy sometimes. ;) Remember to keep in mind the guildness to a ranked member, and how to be apart of the community. ** RANKED GULDNESS** * Can I become an auto ranked member by attending all events? You may become a ranked member by attending at least three weeks of events. One event is held every week, but we do keep track of people who attend! If you cannot attend every week we do udnerstand. :) * Can I have the option to kick while ranked? This option is not to be abused by any ranked member. The option is clearly for the use to keep offensive users out the clan, and to make the community a safer place. We do not abuse the clan members, nor will we kick them from the clan for no reason. Keep this in mind while in our clan chat. ** F2P & P2P GUILDNESS AND INFORMATION ** The F2P community is considered to be apart of the main RuneScape community as well. The clan guildness will allow you to find out information about what you should do, and what you cannot do in the clan or clan chat. * Remember to be your best within the clan. Being your best will encourage others to try their best, no matter what the cause or conflict is. * Being respectful is important to the whole community, and giving respect will earn you your own respect. * "Directing offences astray" one of our mottos is "Directing offences astray", meaning keep offences away from our clan! Meaning remember that the 'Report Abuse' button is below, and is ready for the use for offensive users. * Being a help advertiser for community events is important to get more people involved with community events. We respect all those who want to attract more community members, and it's important for us to do so. * Having self confidence is important to all players of the community, and we encourage for them to have this type of confidence. * Being a team player throughout events might also help here! If you've brought a friend to an event, you might not be on the same team! This means you must be a team player for your team, and for the players on the other side as well. * Speaking languages of other nationalities is important to the community so all players feel welcome within our own community. This is why our basic German/French communities have been added to our lonely English community. It's time to combine each other, and have some real fun! * Being helpful to one another with information/rules/guildness is also important for players to get along. If you have to remind another member of the event rules, or the game rules please do so! We enourage helping, and always love to see a player "lending a helpful hand". * Promoting events is important to our community, as our clan must grow larger! The more members we have, the better events we're able to host. ** GAMES4FUN COMPETITIONS ** In order to have some real fun events we might go against our own clan members in a team duel. This means we might be spending some time in Clan Wars, Castle Wars, Soul Wars etc. We might even face our brother/sister clan: German, Games4Fun, or French, Games4Fun. This means we must be a team spirited clan, and enjoy the basic event which is held each week. Normally this does not mean we will go against our own clan in a battle/event. We might also hold events against other community clans as well. [German] Many players played with us, and our community grew. This week's events we're trying to make as large as possible, and don't want people to feel left out. We're always trying to encourage players to play for fun, and not for the winning part of the game. Normally we think it's good to win, but really it's good to take a role in the game itself. We're hosting an event every week, and we are making our rounds to different servers, and languages! Some of our hosts will be hosting German events this week, and next week French! I don't think Jagex will create any kind of movie clips. So far there only movie clips are found on their YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/jagexofficial. Mostly they have the FunOrb game advertisements, and the Jagex moderator profiles. Hey, Sadly, if you have an RSC account but it has been inactive for quite sometime; you then are unable to login to the RSC game. Overall, RSC isn't open anymore to the public, but I wish it was. :( It would of been a great game to play.
