3PointMan
Should I wear a ring of wealth for slayer? Don't say zerker or warrior or slayer ring. I want to know if the ring of wealth makes stuff likes rune boots/visages/dragon armor/whips/dragon boots/mauls/mystic easier to get. I basically just need to know if it makes slayer drops more common. I know the wheel thingy, but some things increase chance and some things decrease it. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/samtheninja/Tags/FEARLESStag.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/song4thedeaf/stuff.png what i'm doing now: https://linktr.ee/student1

Wearing a RoW makes drops like rune boots/visages/dragon armor/whips/dragon boots/mauls/mystic more possible to get, it wont be like super more chances. Over half a year at steel/iron drags iv had 4 d leg drops, 2 d skirt drops and 5 d med drops all with RoW on, all the time iv been without the best iv got was rune javs. It gives you more chance to get the 'rarer' items on monsters drop lists but doesn't make it so you WILL get them... if that makes sense. Zaaps1
It makes "Standard Rare" drops more likely. That's rune, herbs, seeds, half keys, etc. It will not make "special drops" more likely, such as Visages or whips. I myself always use a warrior (i) or zerker (i). Exception is at Waterfiends, where I use Dstone (i) for the +6 crush bonus, and I use Dstone (i) for any tasks I range and not melee, such as Black demons and Fire giants. But, personal preference. It will increase the average profit/task. Now you just need to ask yourself, "Is that slight bonus in money worth the slightly slower kills?" The anwser is different for everybody. ~It's Super Effective! I'm pretty sure Wealth doesn't affect runes, herbs, seeds, and gems...with very few exceptions (like Fever Spiders I suppose) those things will have the same ratio of the different kinds of herbs and herb seeds and such, which leads me to believe that the "slot" in the drop table just says "herb" and not a specific type of herb, or something like that. Is the whip really a bonus drop? Like, it comes in addition to a regular drop, so you could get a whip and some runes or something in the same pile? I'm fairly certain most of the unique slayer drops are in the ordinary drop table and will be affected by the RoW, but hey, I've never gotten a whip drop, have I? Ok, I think I'm going to just use Ring of Wealth. I don't have any imbued ring, so I'm gonna just use a wealth. Judobreaker
Rare drops like dragon items and whips are affected by the ring and will be more likely to drop. Visage is a bonus drop and is therefor not affected by the ring at all. Common items like herbs and runes are also not affected by the ring at all. Zaaps1
Maybe this belongs on your thread, but didn't Jagex state that slayer drops are included as "special" drops? I might be wrong though. But I'm certain I've seen another RoW explaination by Jagex about the "special" drops, but I can't seem to find it. ~It's Super Effective! Judobreaker
I've tried to find as much information on the RoW for my guide and I haven't seen anything saying this yet. Also, if this was true you'd expect this to be in the Slayer Guide or the RoW description but there's nothing to be found there concerning this topic so we can simply say that slayer items are in fact affected by the RoW.
