August 27, 200916 yr Im just about to start Legends, but i dont intend to complete it... Just for barrows gloves. How far do i need to get into the quest? I know you are allowed into the Jungle as soon as the quests starts, but do i need to go there first or can i simply start the next quest and go in then? Also, so i need anything to get the required item? I heard something about needing to hack vines? Any help is appreciated.
August 27, 200916 yr you need to do legends untill you get access to the kharazi forest south of shilo you need to have machette and a hatchet to get through.

August 27, 200916 yr any hatchet will do bronze through drag so yeah buy one on ge. If you cant but a machette on ge I think there is a store somewhere either in shilo or the small jungle town to the north of it that sells machettes.

August 27, 200916 yr Read the Legends quest guide to the point of having mapped the jungle completely. Then read the Sir Amik Varse portion of the RFD guide. That should answer all of your questions about items you will need and monsters you will encounter in the process.
