I am back into the game after a lengthy hiatus. Before leaving I completed Smoking Kills and would like to know the fastest way to gain slayer points for making a helm, the ability to make slayer rings, etc. Slayer level is 88. All combat stats are in the low 90s with the exception of summoning which is only 52, and prayer which is 72. I'm assuming the slayer helm is the most important use of points. What would you say is the next most?

Klank's on your hands, climbers on your feet! A Fire Giant dropped a Dragon Med for me during a slayer assignment. It was worth about 2 million gp at the time. I still have it. :)

Seems it is time for you to have a close read of the game rules. You are wrong on both counts.

Farmers/gardeners don't even have an option to have them cut down a fruit tree. I'm guessing this is because there is no level requirement to do it yourself so I find it highly likely there is little to no experience in doing so.

More power to you if you can immediately determine the combat level of a player based on those four data points. I can't - thank god. But based on those points I think Flesh Crawlers are your best choice for training melee combat.

What's your combat level? You didn't include prayer so there is no way to know it.

Hey, made me look, lol. While he won't buy them noted, I think I recall he will buy an entire inventory at once, which is at least an improvement over one fur at a time.

You showed the bronze one to the woman at the door, right? It can be really frustrating. I think it took me over 2500 tokens to get to rune.

I am not ever going to complain about a free game. But it would be nice if the chat box message gave a clearer indication that a player needs to be a member to access a door or puzzle rather than the "you are unable to..." message.

Don't forget you can avail yourself of potions/brews to boost levels (such as Chef's Delight to raise your cooking level) in order to complete tasks. Will definitely save you some time. Fly fishing in Shilo was fast for me. It may not be the fastest any longer, however.

Aha, well I bought molten glass and made my earth orbs because it's so easy. ( That may be another thought.) Wonder why water orbs buy but earth orbs don't? Is there a monster that drops waters or something? Oh yeah, I also made a few crafting potions. I thought it was worth it.

I agree with the battlestaff method and would add that you could use a crafting potion to make earth battles which would give you a bit better experience until you can make them without the potion at level 58. Edit: And don't forget the staffs you can buy from Zack each day if you have completed any part of the Varrock Diary. They are relatively cheap :thumbup:

Has anyone found good items to high and low alch each day using the Explorer's Ring 4. Looking for something easy to get in abundance and am not concerned with making money but would like for the item to alch for an amount equal to its GE price if that's even possible. I'm not currently a member, so keep that in mind. Thanks.

If you are at your keyboard then you are not AFK.

If you don't have access to the Lunar book you could always wear an amulet of nature bound to the patch while it grows. That will tell you if it needs attention, at least. I would only bother with this if it's an expensive seed, however .

This is a very old guide in the AOW, but it may give you some ideas if you are still p2p and have a bit of time to plan. It doesn't take into consideration the changes to bank space that have been made, and there are many, many more items now.

There are way too many variables to say. But it is always faster, in my opinion, than mining ore. And a lot more fun.

I read the question as: I'm going to do some woodcutting, what would you cut to make money in the process? And I don't want to waste a bunch of time banking. So, my answer is still eucalyptus or magics. :P

Why ivy, just out of curiosity. My first thought was wither eucalyptus or magics based on a recent GE price check and their relative closeness to banking.

It seems the quest is buggy at the moment. Lots of people are having the same problem with the third set of numbers not appearing. Recommendation on the RSOF is to try playing in Safe Mode. See if that helps. You won't ever get it until you know what number you need, lol.

Try banking the hair clip and keeping the lockpick in your inventory (you only need one lockpick, it won't break).

There is also a spot in the far northwest as well as a spot in the southwest by the rocks. Both are good.

It's definitely buggy. There is a thread about it in the RS Quest forum. You should report it. Too bad. :sad:
