  1. I agree, Barrows is fun although I wouldn't count on it to make money, but you won't lose money either. And you might get lucky! In addition to the passive money making activities like Manage Thy Kingdom and Farming, try a variety. Kill some easy Chaos Druids; herbs are outrageously profitable right now. Mine Shooting Stars or cut Evil Trees- not exactly a money making machine, but it is fun and you will get great experience in the process. By the way, at your particular runecrafting level, you would be best served to craft cosmic runes from a profitability standpoint - check it out.
  2. With one big exception that I know of, and that is the Bone Key from Shilo Village. If you ever want to go back there to train or help a friend, keep it. Can you post a picture of the items? That might help others to ID useful or non-replaceable items. Edit: Just thought of an item I was sorry to have disposed of - the Demonic Sigil from Shadow of the Storm quest, not because it was useful but because it was sort of cool to be able to chant with it. I thought I could make another if I kept the mould, but no luck.
  3. I haven't started this hunt but after reading about it I wondered: If I follow Surok through the tunnels to the end without actually entering the fighting chamber can I teleport out and then go back the shorter route if I need to top off my supplies? If I start the fight and need to teleport in the midst of it must I re-run the entire tunnel or can I use the short route? Help :ohnoes:
  4. Willows about 4 hours, give or take - which you have discovered. Cactus about half a day, give or take.
  5. I couldn't tell you how long it took me to find it, but it felt like days. I hope you find it soon.
  6. Be very careful with that calculator. Anyone can edit in GE prices and, for example, the GE price for flax is showing 201 gp at the moment whereas Tip.It's Item Database is showing 124 gp. Big difference. Always double check the prices. True they can alg slightly behind, but they are still fairly accurate This is not lag in updating the prices. The price of flax is at a 180 day high at 124gp. Someone, accidentally or maliciously put the 201gp price in. That is why I always confirm prices. Just a heads-up :)

  8. The Varrock Museum mini quest gives experience lamps at certain stages of completion. Also, lots of quests give lamps or other rewards that can be put toward various skills. Have a look here - scroll down to the skill choice section.
  9. I had another Bloodveld assignment, so I took a screen shot. Sorry the image is so big. Couldn't get a thumbnail link to work.
  10. These guys are right. You will use 20+ stews just to get a 4 level boost, and that is if you are lucky. A 6 level boost is unheard of, though not impossible apparently. Could you use Penguin Points to help?
  11. As stale as it sounds, your best bet is Chaos Druids. Basilisks also drop a lot of herbs but take longer to get to and take longer to kill. When you have the slayer level you should switch to Abberant Spectres, though. Oh, and I forgot about Flesh Crawlers, but they have the same locality drawback as Basilisks.
  12. Works just fine now. Must have been something on my end. :)
  13. In the Horror From the Deep quest guide it says but I guess the guide was updated at some point and now a link to the Barcrawl guide is in Part 2 of the guide. So it's a little confusing to go looking for the Barcrawl information at the very bottom and not find it there. Anyway, maybe you could just link to it directly from the Skills section as well. :)
  14. You'll need to complete the Bar Crawl. The Barbarian outside the agility course will give you the card to complete. The information is actually linked within Tip.It's Horror from the Deep guide - read part 2. Although it says in the Skills Required section that the information is listed at the end. So it is a bit confusing.
  15. In another thread someone helpfully pointed me to the Creating Summoning Pouches Table but for some reason it stops loading the seconds column at the level 34 pouch. Can't wait to use this  Thanks.
  16. You were right and here is the patch note Though not as exciting as you might have wished for. :)
  17. It's called risk management. Jagex has grown up.
  18. Good advice, all of it. I think I will keep my bird with me for several hours of gameplay along with the scrolls so I get used to taking full advantage of it. Sold on keeping the Terrorbird pouches!
  19. Great suggestion. I love the circus and it loves me as far as weekly chunks of magic experience go. :) For some reason my magic level sort of takes care of itself in keeping up with other combat skills. I teleport everywhere and often. Also, charging air orbs is really good experience when you reach the level to do it. Use your explorer's ring every day for 30 free low-alchs. I use it on low-level unstrung bows and/or low level armour/weapons drops. Take high alch runes when you are training on something that drops items that are worth more than the price of a nature rune. You will be surprised how quickly your level increases without having to grind it out.
  20. OK, then! I will trust you both and convert some of the pouches to scrolls and save the rest. By the way, in what circumstances do you find the run recovery scrolls helpful? I may not be using my Terrorbird to its best advantage.
  21. I have hundreds of them from training summoning. What's the best thing to do with them? High-alch? Sell on the GE, and if so, do they actually sell? I can't imagine I would ever use this many. Thanks for any information or advice.
  22. It's a bit out of the way but you can get there via the gnome glider to White Wolf. Ice Warriors, and lots of them, all to yourself as well as aggressive. Requires lvl 50 mining and a pick to get there, but they are really great experience. Here is a map. Go to the Ice Queen area - the one where you killed the queen to get Ice Gloves for Heros quest. Take your Explorer's ring to low-alch some of the drops.
  23. The tone of that edit was ridiculous considering the offense and the offender. A simple note about how to use the multi-quote function would have been helpful and enlightening for those of us who don't know how to use it, as opposed to an admonishment about double posting. I don't mean to sound harsh but this is the type of moderating that stops careful and thoughtful people from posting.
  24. Good idea. It occurs to me that the vampires west of Burgh de Rott are just regular vampires, no silly extra equipment necessary to kill them and there are no leaches either. They are located around the area where you enter/start the quest Haunted Mine. You can jump over the fence from Burgh.
