  1. I've seen them at the Seers Village Yews. And I know exactly what you mean about that ridiculous chat they use to try to appear as if they are a normal player. I don't know for a fact they are botting, but I'm not stupid either
  2. I'm fairly sure glassblowing is a huge money sink per experience point until you can craft orbs, charge them and then make into battlestaves. Honestly, the fastest way at a cost that is not too outrageous is probably buying leather and making coifs. Check out the crafting calculator and then look up the raw material in the item database to find out the cost. You can then determine the best method for youself.
  3. Can't help you with the method, but don't forget to try a crafting potion when you reach level 52. That could save you some time and gp if it works for making the slayer helm - and it should work.
  4. Read the Legends quest guide to the point of having mapped the jungle completely. Then read the Sir Amik Varse portion of the RFD guide. That should answer all of your questions about items you will need and monsters you will encounter in the process.
  5. Proselyte chest would help a little. But only if you need to bank anyway. If you don't have a black mask, then definitely use super strength and super attack potions so you can rip through them faster to save time and therefore potions. Also, if you have the Holy Wrench from the Rum Deal quest, you should use it. Too bad prayer potions are so expensive and hard to come by lately.
  6. What gear did you decide to take? Maybe there are some adjustments that will help with your prayer drain.
  7. I agree, it must just be giving out. Thanks all.
  8. Except that, and Zaaps1 will get a kick out of this coming from me, molten glass sells for 424gp on the GE (not suggesting you would buy the glass to make vials). So you are paying much more than 5gp to make the vials yourself.
  9. Well, I was thinking more along the lines of an ectophial or a teletab for fast escape.
  10. Yes, with good food and with super potting attack and strength. Also: everyone does not  Seriously, give it a go. Just be sure to take a fast tele out in case things go wrong.
  11. I'm fairly sure you can stand on one side of a bridge and range over. You have to be pretty quick so that the one on your platform doesn't respawn before you have killed the other.
  12. Yes, this is a problem. I was so happy to see this thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=801730 because I had given up :wall: Someone who hasn't completed the quest yet needs to get some screen shots, I suppose.
  13. Actually a halberd works great. I used a rune one and even that was doable. Just pot up like you plan to do.
  14. This is true. But be sure to hold on to your bone key from Shilo Village in case you ever want to go back to the cavern where you had the final fight, because there is no way to get that back that I'm aware of. The sigil from Shadow of the Storm is very cool and I don't think there is a way to get another after the quest, even if you save your sigil mould. You can't wield it so it isn't as fun as during the quest but it still will chant, I believe.
  15. You need 50 woodcutting and all of the required quests and questpoints.
  16. Trolls have incredibly high range defense in general (not to mention if it is entirely immune as stated above) so I think it's a bad idea. Try a halberd. Worked like a charm for me.
  17. Ok, it has stopped working again. Didn't work for me. I am not running this process. Any other ideas?
  18. Edit 2: Broken again, see post below please. Edit: Wow, you guys are good! My mouse suddenly functions properly again :D No idea what the problem was or what fixed it but still if someone has some information it would be good to know for the future. Hi. Forgive me in advance if I am not giving enough information as I am not the least bit savvy in this area. I run Windows XP with a very basic 3 button Logitech mouse. Suddenly the scrolling wheel will only work when scrolling up. When I try to scroll down it moves about 3 lines and then stops completely. The problem is universal, not limited to just certain programs. Any ideas for fixing this?
  19. It is probably always less expensive these days to buy the potions rather than make them (on the other hand, have you had a look at the price of prayer potions lately?) , but that doesn't help if you NEED to raise your herblore level for a quest. That is the trade off. And if you want the trade off to be the least taxing to you then you will have to gather either the herb itself or the second component by farming, combat or running around getting snape grass, etc. The offset is either finding a potion that is in high demand so that you can recoup some of your money by selling it or by making a potion or potions that you will use.
  20. I am not implying that farming herbs to train herblore is free experience. But if you want to train the herblore skill you can either pay for the components strictly with gp, at a loss, or you can use another skill (combat or farming) to collect a component while gaining the experience from gathering it. Gathering snape grass on Waterbirth is very efficient if using Peer to bank with but it gains you no inherent experience as farming or combat will. It is all a trade-off.
  21. I was able to use a Garden Pie to boost for the Varrock Diary so I would guess you could do the same for the Falador Diary.
  22. Serum 207 requires only level 15 herblore but you must have done (started?) the Shades quest to make it. And you will be stuck with it as it is not tradeable and therefore you can't note it to drop it. If you are going for cost efficiency then find a potion you can make that is in demand on the GE and either gather (or farm) the herb or the second yourself. Buying both will almost always result in a loss. Prayer potions were the rare exception until they recently became the latest merchanting rage.
  23. Then your question is about skill training, not questing. I'm sure someone here can help. Or you could ask your 'main'
  24. Of course useful, but not necessary to start or complete the quest. I just wanted to point that out in case the topic creator didn't realize it. I did Underground Pass with an agility level in the mid 40's and didn't fail much either. My OPINION is that agility level does not mean much in many quests that have a recommended level suggestion. In my experience it is your weight that matters more.
  25. Just in case you didn't realize it already, you need neither of those levels to do Underground Pass. A bit more agility experience might help with it, but you certainly don't need 50, and you definitely don't need the theiving level. Take a few summer pies with you. Completing some of the required quests for RFD will get you some good experience in both.
