  1. It makes perfect sense that a wiley cat would catch rats like crazy. And also that an overgrown, lazy cat would not be able to catch any at all. I bet this has been fixed by Jagex since the guide was written.
  2. Wow. That's interesting. How did you figure it to be fact?
  3. Nope, just Jungle Potion.
  4. But you are still hauling around all that mourners gear so wearing light armour really doesn't do anything but take up inventory space.
  5. Wow, I didn't know this. Thanks!
  6. Oh yeah, to open one of the last couple of doors you will need a rope. You will bank a few times, probably, before needing it but it's a pain if you forget it. Good luck!
  7. Mourner's gear, prayer potions, food such as pineapple pizza or even summer pie to conserve inventory space and for use when damage is taken from failing an agility obstacle, I took the holy wrench thing to help with prayer drain, duelling ring for a fast way back to West Ardougne (Mobilising Armies - spirit tree tele to Battlefield then run north is very quick, house teletab or elf crystal first to recharge prayer, then use duel ring). A weapon to kill a shadow if one starts interfering with door opening, mirror placement, etc. I didn't bother with armour, just used the mourners gear and protect from melee. Be sure to leave yourself some inventory space for the things you need to collect and also for the key and the items you can't wear in the mourners area. Read the guide well and also read this thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=801730 to save yourself some frustration :D I'm sure I've left out something but it's a start.
  8. So you are in the actual mining area after having followed Mistag there? If so, then you need to do Death to the Dorgeshuun quest to gain entry. Not sure if you have to finish it, can't remember. Edit: My memory may be foggy on the names. But if you are just south of the entry from the kitchen basement, that hole goes into the swamp dungeon. It could be that you have to open it from the other side, but I don't think so.
  9. Are you talking about the hole that is just south of the goblin, Mistag? The one that opens the way into the Lumbridge swamp dungeon? If so, try 'using' your pick with it rather than wielding it. That might work.
  10. Use the farming skill planner here: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=farming_planner.htm For the category choose "All" and tick off how many of each action you plan to do in a day's time. I think an assumption of 6 herbs per harvest is a good one. Pineapples is six, of course, and who knows on maples chopped but it won't be much. I always burn those logs. Then go to the item database to get GE values for what you want to sell and do the math.
  11. This is true. But conversely, don't forget to accept the assignment once they ask for an ore or bar you have in your inventory. I wasted a lot of time goofing this up
  12. We people are just not smart or skilled. That is why we don't ask questions. Glad you have never, ever, had any problems with revenants.
  13. Please tell us what you learned or figured out. I recently lost a clue scroll to revenants and would really like to know how or if this summoning works.
  14. Here are the base points per slayer master Based on my experience: For each tenth task, multiply by 5. For each fiftieth task, multiply by 15.
  15. I'm fairly certain you can use a wild pie to boost slayer for beating this quest boss. Maybe that is the explanation, though why it wasn't mentioned by the topic creator is :?
  16. Yes, you can kill it if as suggested above you use super potions for melee and take some good food. I did it at about your levels if I remember correctly, maybe even lower, but I did use pots and a ring of recoil.
  17. Surely you mean 7.7k rune essence, no? ;) That fire rune crafting method is truly fast, I agree.
  18. Great advice and info from all. Thank you, again!
  19. This is precisely the information I was looking for. Thank you! :D By the way, when you say to stay out of melee range, does that mean you get pulled into it by the dragon or can I just stay a couple of squares away without having to run back after every hit?
  20. That's all I need to kill for the Fremennik Diary. Attack 70 Defense 65 HP 69 Magic 67 Prayer 57 Ranged 66 Do you think I can do it? :ohnoes: If so, what would you recommend as the best method based on my stats. I can't yet wear any Barrows Armour, so that's out right from the start. I can, however, wield a slayer staff for mage if that is a help at all. I've read Tip.It's Mithril Dragon guide so I know the basics; antifire and prayer potions, antifire shield, good food, stat boosting pots, etc. Any help with the "can" and "how best" is greatly appreciated.
  21. Oh, nice idea! RFD takes quite a while to finish so this is a great interim solution.
  22. Yes, read here http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=134 And you can beat the entire quest easily with your combat stats.
  23. The "top" and "base" in this case are the faces of the mirrors (the faces that reflect). So the guide isn't wrong, rather people read it differently. The interface has changed. See here http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=801730 Hopefully the guide will be edited to reflect the change in the quest.
  24. Plant trees, pay the farmer to watch, check back when you log in again the next day. The experience adds up quickly. Use the best seeds you have or want to afford. Herb farming is a great way to raise herblore inexpensively but it does take time away from other pursuits that may be more valuable. You will have to do the math because it is different for everyone.
  25. Fast = expensive Cheap = slow, or slower A universal truth :D
