It kills me to find a dead ranarr these days. As to the death rate, I find that it goes in cycles. I am level 61 farming and have killed about 70% of the barley patches (a level 3 seed) I have farmed in the last few days. Makes no sense but a similar thing happened with limps recently. For your ranarrs could you wear an amulet of nature bound to the first one planted? Then you could quickly go check out the others for disease, or even as a bit of a timer for harvesting.

I decided to turn my public chat off while in the GE for a few minutes. This has totally messed up my ideal set-up and now I can't figure out how to get it back. I want to view all public chat, in the chat box and on the game screen above people's heads. I want to filter out all of the repetitive game messages such as those for each individual fish you pull out of the ocean or each log you cut. BUT, I do want important game messages such as GE updates, farming health check info, leveling info, etc. I had it exactly this way forever and feel like an idiot that I can't get it back like this again. :oops: Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Maybe you need to talk through some chat with that old man you gave the cake to. Try asking him all of the available questions. Wish I could remember exactly what I did, but I don't. Edit: Also, try logging out and back in again in case it is a bit glitchy.

And what fire spell have you used on it? Try a bolt spell if you haven't.

And what does it say when you examine? Let's start with the fountain.

Have you investigated both the fountain and the furnace? I would not cast any more spells hoping for a different result until you find out what your problem is, by the way.

I am about to finish my 19th slayer task in a row. I have been using Vannaka as my slayer master but I think I should switch to Chaeldar for the 20th so I might receive a bonus on that assignment. The reason I say "might" is because Slayer Guide on Tip.It is just a bit ambiguous in its wording. Does this mean I will get a bonus at every 10th and 50th task or just on the 10th and 50th? I am only concerned because Chaeldar will probably assign me 160 Mutated Zygomites :thumbdown: and I'm not willing to risk that if I don't get a bonus at my 20th task. ;) Thanks in advance for any clarification you can offer.

It would be great if there were a gallery for house pictures showing how particular installations look. Just a little bit of information I learned that might save you some gp: Don't be persuaded, unless you just like the look, to install the marble burners as they do not affect the performance of the gilded altar. The lower burner will give you the same 350% experience per bone. ;) I have neither item, but I tested this at friends' houses.

I was just coming back to edit into my post this quote from the quest guide: So if it is no longer correct, and you are able to use a boost you might want to post in the website corrections forum for quests. This is good info to have right in the guide ;)

I am almost positive you need the level 48 and that a boost will not work with this part of the quest.

Oh good. Then just protect from melee while killing the first form. That will be the least of the fight. :D

I would avail myself of all possible farming plots. No reason not to, and no reason not to plant the best possible seed - even if you plant and harvest only randomly.
