  1. Wow. Thank you for all of the good information. Some of it I was starting to assume and some I had no idea about ;) Thanks again!
  2. Thanks you guys! I'll give the timer a test next time and post back. Thanks for the article. Theories, gotta love 'em. :D
  3. I am new to this Evil Tree hunting and have a couple of questions. Does the timer of the Leprechaun's magic continue to tick away if you need to log out or will you have the same amount of time left when you log back in? There is a lot of advice given by people at the Evil Tree locations such as "Don't light fires!", and "All stand on south side of tree!", "Cut roots!", etc. Anyone have some definite information about these opinions? Thanks in advance for any help :)
  4. Yes, you can. You can even drop them, talk to the ghost again and get another pair at the same time.
  5. Why not? They've done it before and uh...lets just say they take money seriously. As I asked above, would you please explain exactly what you are implying? I am not being flip, I am truly interested in this. If Jagex is sanctioning of its own accord it would be understandable based on the reason. But their reply seems oblique. You seem to have some understanding I can't quite glean. Thanks.
  6. I agree that it seems a self imposed sanction on Jagex's behalf. But, "money fraud"? Please explain. What does this mean?
  7. In looking at the original post it seems it was July 12, 2009.
  8. This response is quite strange. It sounds as if Jagex, on its own, is taking a stance against certain countries. I wonder if they have decided to implement a company policy of some sort. Though why against Serbia is quite the question. It's really pretty fascinating, unless it's a mistake which it very well could still be, and I don't blame you at all for washing your hands of the whole matter. But please pursue it ;)
  9. I can't help you with the melee route because that is not my experience with beating the quest. I'm sure others will be able to, though.
  10. The best spell you have, except when it comes to Kamil as I said above. You will be surprised how effective it is.
  11. All of the bosses are weak to magic attacks. You may want to mage some - like Desseous- while wearing rune to protect from his range/melee attacks but that shouldn't be a problem with your levels, just pot up. Farid is a cinch because he almost always melees so you can just pray against that. Kamil is difficult only because of the stat drain that he, and the environment, causes - take a low level fire spell so when he drains your magic level you can still cast mage attacks. There is a safe spot for Damis along the eastern wall north of a stalagmite. Just give them all a shot, you will learn from experience the best way to beat them. It's how I did it at much lower levels.
  12. I think this is true. Plus any required quest points, of course.
  13. Good for you for figuring it out, however long it took!
  14. I've had those coordinates before. Just ask someone to duel with you and choose the arena with obstacles. Tell them what you are doing - I always offer to let them kill me after I dig and then give them a bit of gp for their trouble ;)
  15. What discs do you have to work with? Also, if you need different ones, which happened to me, talk to Brimstail to get more.
  16. Are you in the middle of another quest with him?
  17. No, assisting does not work with quests.
  18. Up to 5 depending on your level and I think you might be able to get +5 at level 65. Sorry I'm not absolutely sure about that. A mature Chef's Delight raises 5 levels regardless, I believe, but they are a bit more expensive.
  19. I don't have an answer for the question of how to get there but the good news is that you can stat boost for the cooking part of saving the monkey with a Chef's Delight. What's your current cooking level?
  20. Try hopping to the house party themed world. At the Remmington portal there will be tons of people advertising house parties. Look for one advertising a gilded alter or a high construction level- usually they will also have a high-level lecturn. Might take you a few minutes to find the best one. Not sure if players advertise at Yanille portal.
  21. He is pretty weak to magic attacks. Maybe try maging him while wearing your rune armour - drink a magic potion to help with the negative bonuses. His melee attack is a crush attack so try wearing a chainbody as opposed to a plate. Good luck with this. I maged him from just inside the door and he couldn't reach me but this was before the safespot was removed, I guess.
  22. Using the Abyss is much, much faster unless you have no defense or something mitigating like that.
  23. Planks, nails, hammer and saw. Give this a read http://tip.it/runescape/?page=construction_beginner_guide.htm I did Fremmy Trials and did not once need a Catspeak amulet.
  24. No kidding, I agree. Stews are a gigantic time waster unless you are within a couple of levels of where you want to be.
  25. There is Dwarven Stout and Mature Dwarven Stout that boost +1 and +2 respectively. I can tell you from experience that getting the full +6 from spicy stew is practically impossible. The most I have ever gotten was +4. And that in itself took a LOT of time. How many levels are you looking to raise?
