I went a'checking the RSWiki, and apparently Vampyre Juvinates only count if you get them to 50% health, use the Rod/Flail of Ivandis special, they get pissy, and then you kill them. Otherwise, the i versus y makes a serious difference. Edit: You use the spec, then guthix balance, and if THAT makes them pissy they count. (Leaving out steps confuses people! XD) The special just freezes them. (I suck!) Lol. I'd rather deal with the leaches! Oh well.

I wonder if you could kill the Vampire Juvinates instead for your assignment? They are both east and west of Burgh de Rott if I remember correctly with not a leach in sight.
-
If they have nerfed it while at the same time saying they have no intention of nerfing it , this ^ is undoubtedly the reason they would bother.

i believe hp is 1.3 times what you hit, like controlled. That is my understanding as well, 1 1/3 hp experience gained for every damage point you deal.

They are very weak to magic attacks. I usually go to DIR on the Fairy Ring. There are a few safe spots for far-casting. And you can always go through the barrier if you need to take a break or heal, though with your combat level you should be fine :)

What is this Varrock dungeon teleport of which you speak? I can't figure it out. :( He means the Edgeville Dungeon tele, which is somewhat close to varrock (Sort of like a games necklace tele for Taverly). I'm drawing a blank here, what teleport or teleport device puts you inside the Edgeville dungeon? Or are you speaking of the Edgeville option on an Amulet of Glory? Maybe the Fairy Ring to Edgeville or the Spirit Tree teleport to the GE? Sorry to be so dense.

Clean the artifacts from the digsite on the ground floor of the Varrock Museum. Eventually you will find a 'clean necklace', I think it's called. Show it to one of the experts there and you can learn to enchant ruby necklaces to make the Digsite Pendant. Be sure to show any other things you find while cleaning objects so you can place them in the cases to earn Kudos. Read about it here.

There is a guy there named Martin Thwaitt (sp?) who sells them. I believe you need certain agility and/or thieving levels to buy from him, though. If you are unable to get them, maybe someone who is training cooking will buy them for you. I went through about 50 or so when I did Desert Treasure, but that is strictly a matter of luck. Edit: just to be clear, the Rogues Den is under the pub in Burthorpe, in case you might be looking elsewhere :)

From what I have read, 3 minutes longer than super.

Congrats! And thank you for posting back about what worked. Wish I had known this myself.

As I discovered today, the shortcut at the top of the Meiyerditch dungeon map requires level 65 agility to sqeeze past the wall. Good information to know if you are below 65 agility and need to take a boosting potion or pie. :) [crew edit: if someone can post a "proof pic" showing their stats and the ingame message, that would be great.]]

Read about killing them here. I don't think magic is a bad option if you use the chaos gauntlets from Family Crest. Melee is good too, but in addition to prayer potions and anti-fires use super attack and strength to kill them more quickly. Good luck :)

I was in your shoes when I did this quest and I failed many times. No, you can't teleport out by any means other than clicking on the lectern in the dream world, so be very aware of that fact vs. your remaining hitpoints. Ring of Life is never a 100% fix and I am not sure it will work in this fight so I would not rely on it at all. I think you can do it if you drink a set of super attack/strength/defense potions before going in (then bank them and withdraw 3 more food items) and take tuna potatoes for food. If you can get your hands on a whip, do it. I found the first fight to be the most difficult, so if you can get through that one you might be well on your way to finishing. In short use the best armour, food and weapons you can possibly use while remembering to watch your hp and abort the attempt if things are going wrong. Good luck!

Fishing Calculator Just a small error: Leaping Sturgeon appears as an option for fishing at level 65 but I believe it is not able to be fished until level 70. Thanks!

Tip.it's Ardougne Achievement Diary guide also says you don't need to have started Wolf Whistle but the Runescape Knowlege Base says you do. Perhaps this has changed since the diary was released. In any event, your friend could do the quest to the point of needing to recharge summoning points and then just not finish it to avoid getting the quest reward. This might work. Also, make sure he is using the exact obelisk mentioned in the diary - it's the one just east of the Fight Arena between Yanille and Ardougne. :)

Excellent idea. I often find myself at a farming patch with no gp to buy a plant cure with.

The popularity percentage is factored on a daily basis so in order to optimize it you should go daily. Skipping a day or two here or there is hardly noticeable but it *is* a daily calculation. As is the money in the coffers - so if 10% of the coffers is less than 75k then you aren't optimizing the return. I took a 3 month break and all of the above info was true for my case.

What a great tool! The only thing I can think of that would improve it would be to somehow make it easier to see exactly which skill levels will increase rather than needing to scroll back up to the current level information. For example; show any skill that increases in a different color, or place another column in the table that shows the skill level pre-point redemption for easier comparison. Thank you for your hard work. :)

There are (or were) many, many safe spots for using a halberd in the cave that is just east of the Rock Crabs NE of Relleka. It's a bit of a challenge for the first few minutes, but once they settle down into a non-aggressive mode you can camp for a long time. Drops are very good.

Desert Treasure - Safe spot for killing Darnis
ovorette replied to ShaunDreclin's topic in Completed Website Corrections
Glad to know it still works. You're welcome, by the way. -
Just got dragon pick drop, Should I keep or sell?
ovorette replied to bewareitsandrew's topic in Help and Advice
Keep it and use it in good health, or sell it and do not look back. -
Please tell us what monster drops the toadflax herb.

Sounds to me like you need some more information from the guildmaster. I would go back and talk to him again.

I have 55 hunter and used the mud bath at O'oglog to do the quest. It took a bit of running, but it worked. Get to the exact point in the quest that you need the hunting level for. Jump in the pool, glory to edgeville, fairy ring to DKS, enter cave and ferry across, etc. You should be able to make it in time to use the boot with the footprints.
