October 26, 201015 yr Was doing some Farming rounds and I was able to get the patch-farmers to chop down my normal trees for me, for 200gp. I went over to one of my fruit tree patches but they wouldn't chop it for me. If I chop it down (I know it doesn't provide any logs or such evidence of being chopped down), will I gain Woodcut experience in the process? Or is it different in the fact that I won't?

October 26, 201015 yr You dont chop them down, you harvest their fruits ;-) No, you do chop them down. Can't answer OP's question. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
October 26, 201015 yr I am almost sure that you don't get wc exp for chopping fruit trees. I think I'd have noticed it on my way to 99 farming, since I usually have my xp tab thing open. I could have missed it, but I don't think I did. Join "DG Sweepers" Clan Chat for Dungeoneering Floors | Accepting all tipiters who are Willing to Learn |
October 26, 201015 yr There is no woodcutting XP for chopping down fruit trees. It's just more convenient than having to ask a farmer to do it.
October 27, 201015 yr No woodcutting exp at all when cutting them. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. [01:24:34] CJ Hunnicutt: it takes skill to be that [bleep]ing stupid
October 27, 201015 yr There is no woodcutting XP for chopping down fruit trees. It's just more convenient than having to ask a farmer to do it. Farmers/gardeners don't even have an option to have them cut down a fruit tree. I'm guessing this is because there is no level requirement to do it yourself so I find it highly likely there is little to no experience in doing so.
