whosyourpk
Gear: Cowl Amulet of Ranging Skill Cape Leather Body Leather chaps Bronze/Iron Gloves (from RFD) Bronze/Iron Darts (p++) OR Bronze/Iron Knives (p++) Archer's ring (i) Inventory: Bronze/Iron Dagger (p++) Rock Cake Purple Sweets 8 Rings of Recoils 17 Phoenix Necklaces Becouse this methd is very expensive there is no place for welfare gear (for example glory instead of ranging amulet), weak gear will make it even slower ---Staying alive--- 1. Safe zone It is square with number 1 on the picture. Square number 2 avaible after killing all monster trapped on eastern rock. Cyan and green line are borders of safe zone. Purple spot allows for traping 3 of 5 possible monster spawns. The purple square is place where you should stand before each wave. Yellow squares are spawns, there are marked routs showing where they get trapped. -Lureing single monster (cross the safe zone border for a short while by a 1 square, if nothing happens go further - bigger monster) [from safe zone you cannot see trapped monsters - they are too far away] -Lureing ranger/mager to range it from safe zone (just go to most north-east corner) -Running in small safe square (like solo ranged in sara GWD) + big square [Just run close to the edges to prevent being struck by a melee attack] [similar to solo sara GWD] 2. Blocking Meleers This picture contains all spots where big monsters (2x2 square and bigger) can be trapped. Arrow is pointing direction in which you should run to trap monster. Additionaly meleers can be trapped behind ranging ones 3. Healing Rock cake to keep health bellow maximum, prevent death - same method as no pray Jad, just without recoils (me vs bronze dragon vid) Basicly click eat when monsters starts preforming attack, you should have hea;ed by the time it reaches you. That way you have 100% chance to stay alive becouse damage dealt is based on hp when monster starts attack which means it cannot exceed it 4. Phoenix necklace Emergency when running in safe square, mistakes happen ---Attacking--- Melee and ranged attacks are similar to magic ones. There are 2 cases in which you hit 0 -your attack miss (splash) (can't poison) -your attack hits, but deal 0 damage (can poison) To stay at lvl 3 you need to have highest ranged bonus and lowes ranger strength possible. 1. Ranging Haveing fast weapon (darts or knives) set on rapid attack style enables you to attack at last after every two purple sweets eaten (me vs bronze dragon vid) 2. Meleeing It is advised to do it only on trapped meleers, unless you have the best timeing in rs, eating thing is hard to do when melee and impossible when monster attack speed isn't slower than dagger's one. Basicly you stay 2 sqyares away from trapped meleer, click to attack it, walk back immedaitely, wait for Hp bar to dissaper and repeat. This will save literaly millions of gp 3. Jad Trap it on eastern corner of northern rock to also separete you from healer (Jad will stand between you). Use recoils and poison. When healers come poke them. Go back to recoils Vids: Me vs bronze drag http://img190.imageshack.us/i/54975896.mp4/ Running in small square http://img190.imageshack.us/i/72936350.mp4/ Few words from creator: I'm not sure if it's guide or more an easter egg proveing that obtaining a fire cape at lvl 3 isn't that impossible or even if I should make it look better, it's so weird I won't try it out, don't have any account that could afford it. Killing Ket-Zek alone costs more than 7m (without accumulator), I'm not pulling numbers out of nowhere, I tryed to poison black demon -at last gives some point. As you can imaginage doing caves that way would cost a good phat or more. Even perfectly doing mentioned things doesn't provide 100% chance for cape, bad spawn or lureing 180 too early is a sure death. Bronze darts would be best in case you wish to stay lvl 3, but again are more expensive - longer kills. I'm aware guide is bad, but I'm not experienced guide maker, hope some of you get the point. Post your feedback I forgot: Quests required: Recipe for Disaster - freeing the dwarf (not compleated) Cooks assistant Tourists Trap (optional, if useing darts) If you never die you safe too much
mughinn
i dont think you can finish the fight caves being lvl 3, maybe, if you even make to jad and beat him you would be, imo at least lvl 6. And i also believe the purple sweets bug was fixed.
whosyourpk
It wasn't fixed becouse it wasn't purple sweets bug, it's game engine. Just fight a monster and look when you get xp, you always get it before you hit, unless you hit 0. It works with every kind of food, I used shrimps for dragon (notice those 3's | 4's are coused by regeneration or lack of damage) to save $$. Anyway yea, it's still kinda undoable, it just got stuck in my head by a random =\ If you never die you safe too much
Zaaps1
Wow I got totally lost. You should make it a little more clear, for example state the tricks you will be using in the beginning and then remention them when they are relevant. ~It's Super Effective! Judobreaker
Well, lvl 3 would be somewhat impossible. To complete the caves you will have to kill: 48 x Tz-Kih 40 x Tz-kek 36 x Tok-Xil 34 x Yt-mej kot 33 x Ket-Zek 1 x TzTok-Jad The hp amounts of these monsters are: Tz-Kih: 10 Tz-kek: 40 (20 + breaks up in 2 monsters 10 hp each) Tok-Xil: 40 Yt-mej kot: 80 Ket-Zek: 160 TzTok-Jad: 250 This gives a total of: 48x10 + 40x40 + 36x40 + 34x80 + 33x160 + 1x250 = 11520 hp Lets assume you are fighting range defensive to get the least amount of experience. That's 2 xp in both def and range plus 1.33 xp in hp each hit. In other words, this sums up to: 23040 range exp 23040 def exp 15322 hp exp This would mean you'll be lvl 35 range, lvl 35 def and lvl 32 hp. That's combat lvl 33... xD Unless I'm overlooking something lvl 3 is no way near possible. xD EDIT - I figured it might be more efficient if you train only range as you'll get less levels that way. That would give you 46080 range exp, that's 42 range with 1 def which results in 28 cb instead of 33. Judobreaker
Ah, so I did actually miss something. xD Sorry about that. :P You're gonna need a lot of patience though. But it would be cool to see such a low lvl with a fire cape. ^^ My guide: Ring of Wealth explained 8 Dragon Boots (885 kills, 1/111, with RoW)
JoeDaStudd
mmm, sounds interesting although 1 screw up and your no longer level 3 as you have to always hit 0. Possible in theory, but the chances of anyone pulling it off.... well there extremely low. Your talking hours of siting there waiting for poison. whosyourpk
It shouldn't take above 4 or 5 minutes to poison monster. Even if you won't be lvl 3 at the end being under 10 combat will still result in lots of comments when you are passing by with your "skiller outfit" Sitting there would take shorter than gathering money, that's the real problem Glad to see some people are interested with it, I'll try to make some more vids, search tricks and improve it. Phoenix necklace no longer prevents ko's :( If you never die you safe too much
