bloodkilla87
Well, i have about 14 questions of math, fractions. And, bad thing is, i threw my notes away on fractions. So, does anybody know, how to do add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. And if you do, could you like, type it out, so like "top number divided by bottom number" etc. Thanks guys

KnightLite
i know that when you divide by a fraction less than 1, the number will get bigger, but if you multiply by a fraction less than 1, the number gets smaller kind of hard to tutor fractions on forums :x - Only character in Runescape History maxed out in RSC and RS2
Death_By_Pod
Addition/Subtraction: (a/B) + (c/d) = (a*d + b*c)/(b*d) (a/B) - (c/d) = (a*d - b*c)/(b*d) Multiply: (a/B) * (c/d) = (a*c)/(b*d) Division a/b/c = (c*a)/b

adthegreat-
Although death_by_pod wrote it, ill do it in simpler terms. Addition, you make sure both demoninators are the same (if they arent then multiple the first denominator by the the second numerator and vice versa. Then add the numerators. E.g. 5/8 + 4/10. 50/80 + 32/80 = 82/80. Subtract is the same except you take away at the end. Mulitiply is you multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denomintaor by the denominator. E.g. 1/4 * 1/4 = 1/16 Divide you flip one side and then mulitply. E.g. 1/4 / 1/4 = 1/4 * 4/1 = 4/4. If you have any more trouble i can help (up to AS level).
