What happened to Fast Mobilizing Armies/Fast MA?

What's the plan for Fast MA, if it is indeed still running?

 

How horrible that it's only played for the rewards...

I believe the clan chat is still running under the name Fast_MA. As far as the game only being played for the rewards, its probably because jagex can't seem to make a minigame that isn't so awful people want to get through it as fast as possible for the reward.

All teams go to the south of the castle and pile in one place in Siege and then each player releases all of their special scrolls (which scroll specifically?)? - That's from memory of the original topic... :razz:

 

I wouldn't agree that all minigames are only played for the rewards, seeing as how some have very crappy rewards but are still played, like Castle Wars.

Some, like Barrows, are also enjoyable on both sides as far as rewards and actual play are concerned, but then again, this is all subjective.

This post should describe everything you need to do to participate in Fast MA.

 

As far as the minigames go, I was referring to their more recent attempts. :razz:

The way fast_ma did it was to have everyone except blue go to the south wall and attack it. Once the timer hit 26 minutes, everyone would use their cannons to kill all the squads attacking the wall. As long as you give at least 10 commands and last until there are 26 minutes left, you will get a rank. However, Jagex screwed over fast_ma by making it so you can only play on world 76 (unless you can get 20+ people together to play), which means there will be people playing who are not using the same strategy and may even try to deliberately kill you before you can get a rank. You can still use fast_ma's basic strategy; just be wary of the other players.

Unfortunately, Fast MA does not seem to function any longer.
