What happened to these forums?
Just thought I'd drop by here to check out the discussions on the updates to the game in the time since I left only to find this place mostly abandoned. No replies to update threads, only four pages of discussion for the release of a new skill. It's sad, and really unsettling to see. Really all there is to do now is fondly remember the good times had here years ago. I wish all of you tiffers the best, and if we one day run into each other in any other avenue of life just know that somewhere in my soul I'm saying HYT.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
I had a whole speech typed out, but I figured it would fall on deaf ears. I'll simply say in reaction to this whole fiasco, that I'm glad I quit playing this game when I did, and I'll fondly remember the years I did spend with it.

The Great Tip Pic of 2012
@Sylvette http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/7027/monthlypost3.png @Platinum_Myr http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/5021/monthlypost4.png The capes on these two made them odd to work with, I couldn't quite make out the shapes of them due to them blending in with the background. If anything at all looks wrong to either of you, be sure to inform me and I'll take another crack at it.

10 Year Veteran Cape + Solomon's Store, 17th July
According to Hans, my Tip.it account is older than my Runescape account. That's odd to say the least.

No more Bonus XP weekends
I'm patiently awaiting the inevitable Double XP Tickets. "Just throw some cash Jagex's way and you can have double XP for a whole 24 hours! Don't forget that this month only members have a chance to win Double XP Tickets from the Squeal of Fortune."

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
I see some very big improvements already.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
Lots of people mad they didn't get selected for the beta . They should learn to internalize their anger and become an overly sarcastic cynic like me.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
The amount of pure rage on the RSOF is enough to keep me entertained right now, but some screenshots would be nice. I'd watch Castlewars' stream but he only streams in super low res for whatever reason.

From the thread. I'm seriously bummed.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
Well, I guess I can stop having mini-panic attacks all day. Guess seniority didn't count for anything. :-(

No import save button for me.

AFAIK all members can play the beta during the weekends.

I can feel it, I'm not going to get in. I should have played more over the past month. :ohnoes:

Combat rework - on video!
Really liking the look of this so far. From the looks of things they're actually trying to balance the combat triangle finally. Area of Effect.

Behind the Scenes - Jubilee and The Evolution of Combat
I wasn't aware that Fish Flingers was a popular D&D. Hell, I'm sure there's a large number of players that aren't aware of Fish Flingers in general.

I hope seniority counts for something when they're picking beta participants. I'm pretty spotty with my membership.

New Top 250 F2P Skill Total List
Yep, it has a poor rating because it's a free site. It doesnt ask you for any information of any kind, or use cookies or trackers, doesn't sell you anything, and has absolutely no ads or promotions for other sites, so tbh their "poor rating" is nonsense. The fact that cu.cc is a free domain registration service means that some people have probably abused it and made untrustworthy sites, tarnishing the .cu.cc name as a whole. This has absolutely nothing to do with my site whatsoever. Don't go to the site if you like, I'm not forcing anyone, but I assure you there's nothing wrong with it. I even added a silly, useless privacy policy (useless because we do not ask for information or sell anything) but it does not seem to have changed anything. Unfortunately I have no plans to buy a .com domain anytime soon when the site functions perfectly well as a free cu.cc . I didn't mean to imply that there was actually anything wrong with your site. In fact I bumped up some of those ratings myself. I was just giving you a friendly warning.

[22 May 2012] Song From the Depths
Really enjoy these fully voiced quests. Although I think this one is leaps and bounds behind One Piercing Note. I was kind of sad we didn't get to see The Raptor's combat level or at least see him take a beating as well. Any thoughts about what he is exactly? He doesn't sound human at all.

New Top 250 F2P Skill Total List
Just a heads up, your website has a VERY poor Web of Trust rating. You might want to look into improving it to avoid looking like a phishing scam.

18-5-2012 The Evolution of Combat: Beta Sign-Up
Based on their timeliness, I'm thinking more like bug testing and final feedback. Though for the testers to cause any real changes, I would have thought the beta test would a bit earlier. It also seems that they are picking testers at random? The sign up just led to the 'get members Page'. Sign-up doesn't begin until the 1st of June. That link was simply reminding people that they'll need to be a member to even have a chance of participating.

May-11-2012 - The Evolution of Combat
I'm still very skeptical about this whole thing. I don't see it being anything other than a carbon copy of every other MMO out there's combat system, and I like the simple and relaxing nature of Runescape's current combat system. That said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat excited. I'm wondering if they'll finally do away with grid based movement.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
I don't remember the water here looking so clear. Is this new? It looks nice. Here's a shot of some regular blue water for comparison.

Bonfires
Looks like curly vines are still the way to go at 83+ fm. The log burning animation on bonfires seems considerably slower.
