In this thread, it states that the corrections have been added to the site, but they have not. Neither correction posted has been added. I'm just wondering why?

Both suggestions from the post you linked to have in fact been added.

 

The following has been taken from first paragraph of the Waterbirth Island Dungeon map page:

 

The entrance to this dungeon is located on the inner curve of the crescent moon shaped Waterbirth Island. The island is accessible by boat from Rellekka's most southwest dock by speaking with Jarvald, through Lunar teleports, or with the boots obtained from the Relekka achievement diary.
