And you don't need varrock armour 3 right? Varrrock Armour 1 will work? Shepherdman7 Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Not sure on the xp/hour, but I think Varrock Armour 1 only smelts up to steel bars two at a time, so I'm guessing you'd need the level 2 Armour for gold. I'm smelting 30k more gold bars myself, and while I never tested the xp/hour, I've been pretty happy with the speed.
