i didnt know where to put this due the the fact that the only forum for this website i found was for the website not forum talk...anyways when i "search" for my forums..aka the ones ive talked in...i get 33.. but on my post it says i only have 17 posts? whats all this about and why is it different?

You probably posted in the market fora as well, you don't get postcount from posting there.

Yep Daan's right. There are a few boards, including the market boards which if you post in don't increase your post count. It's because people post a lot there and the posts there get removed after a while anyway.
